Bingo is my name-o! I'm a 3 year old, 54 pound, neutered male, Pointer Labrador retriever mix. I'm a very sweet and confident guy that would love long walks or never ending time with my best pal! I love butt scratches, enjoy treats and have tons of energy! I'll do well with a family who can give me a lot of training and regular exercise. I love love love to cuddle! I’m working on my social skills and currently, I feel most comfortable with social females dog. Either way, I'd like to meet all my potential dog (and human) housemates before I go home. Because I'm a rambunctious player and I don't know how big I am, I may be too much for small children. I’m a sweetheart but I would not make a good companion for a cat. I would love to be a model citizen but need help sprucing up my manners. My new family is required to take me to basic obedience classes, which includes an additional cost at the time of adoptions. If you are interested in meeting with me, please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and an adoption counselor will you call and conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet in person. Ask for Bingo ID# A871789! Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.  We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.

Story
Meet Holly! She is friendly, spunky, and full of life! She was diagnosed with diabetes, which her former owner left untreated. She was brought into our Animal Hospital to be euthanized for this completely manageable condition. We spoke with her former owner and she agreed that she would rather relinquish her rights and allow us to rehome Holly. We are looking for a new home that is prepared to give her insulin injections twice daily, keep an eye on her weight, and give her tons of love. She is the most loving dogs we have met and has quickly become attached to our hospital staff. She is eager to try and play with every dog that passes by (but not cats!)

Bandit came to us as a feral dog living in a walnut orchard. He was mistreated by people. So he is best with a women once he gets to know her. He is very affectionate once he trust you. Will sleep in bed with you. He would be best in a home with a single women with out other people coming in and out. Very quiet does not mess with anything. Loves all other animals. Would not hurt anything or anyone. Keep in mind that any dog in a new environment, regardless of training and age will need your attention in the potty training department during a transition.
