Story
Moose is a loyal and relaxed pup who enjoys being lazy and laying in the sun, but also becomes an Olympian when chasing a tennis ball at the park. Her origins are a mystery. She was with a pet rescue that found her, got her vaccines up to date and spayed. We have had Moose under our care for just over a year now. She is a relaxed dog which is ideal for a small space, but loves to run around and chase other dogs or a ball when out in the open.

***COURTESY POST FOR SEAL BEACH ANIMAL CARE CENTER***   Miss Maggie Mae is our sweet princess!  She knows many commands including: come, sit, down, stay, place and heel.  Maggie is the perfect mix of lazy and playful.  If you’re in the mood for a long hike, Maggie will happily join you!  Or if you just want to watch TV all day, Maggie is down for that, too!  She will keep you warm with her endless snuggles.  Maggie does well around other well behaved dogs, and could live with a mellow male dog.  Maggie loves her people very much, and has the potential to become territorial, so potential adopters need to be willing to continue her socialization and reinforce her training.  Free group training included with adoption!   Maggie is the best of both worlds, such a playful girl with so much love to give.  She is currently at board and training.  If interested, please complete our online application or send us an email so we can be in touch.   *Our Adoption Process* W e  have an adoption process including an application and formal interview.  Coming to meet the dog is not a guarantee that you will be approved.   We  don ‘ t   do   first   come ,  we   do  best fit for each dog and family.  If you are coming from a distance,  we  encourage you fill out our online application prior to coming to meet the dog.  Please email contact@sbacc.org with any questions.  Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs!

Story
Meet Lily, a senior dog who's as sweet as she is brave. She's got a gentle heart and a goofy personality that never fails to bring a smile. Lily's curious nature means she's always ready for an adventure, whether that's a leisurely walk around the block or a cozy evening at home. She cherishes companionship and loves nothing more than to protect those she cares about. But don't let her age fool you - Lily's spirit is as vibrant as ever. Adopting Lily means gaining a loyal friend who'll bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life. Lily is currently in foster care, so she is not physically on our facility. If you are interested in setting up a time to meet Lily, please reach out to our foster care coordinator through email, fostercare@petsadoption.org!

Story
She’s an awesome dog for kids and adults alike. She loves to walk and cuddle She rarely barks - occasionally at the doorbell but that’s it. She is a sucker for a comfy sofa but generally sleeps on the floor or in her dog bed. We need to re home Lily because we live in a very intimate neighborhood with little yard, and she is simply not good around other dogs. We have had too many “close calls” and feel that the responsible thing is to place her somewhere she cannot harm another dog even though it’s heartbreaking for us.
