Are you my furever family? My name is Emmie and I’m looking for a permanent home. My foster mom and dad say I am a total sweetheart. I am very loving and affectionate. I love going for walks and I am great on the leash; I never pull. Some of my favorite things are: car rides, chewing toys, broccoli stalks, frequent walks, cuddling and giving kisses. And pillows! I love throw pillows. I love to climb on them, sleep on them, burrow under them, and rearrange them for you. I will never chew them or hurt them. I just love them so much. And I don’t charge for my decorating advice. I like kids, too. I am totally housebroken, well behaved, smart, know basic commands, and eager to learn more. I am very cuddly and will literally leap with joy when you come home. I am the perfect mixture of playful and couch potato. I am told I’m just the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I enjoy meeting other dogs as long as they are nice. Bigger dog with a loud bark scare me. Cats scare me. I’ll be happier if we don’t have cats in our home. I am almost 4 years old and I weigh about 55 lbs. I am an Irish Wolfdog/ Wire haired Griffon mix with medium energy. I have Addison’s Disease. Addison’s disease occurs when the adrenal glands fail to produce the hormones that are in charge of in the body. Being alone for very long hours causes me stress, and that could aggravate my condition. That’s why I will do best if someone is around a lot. And I cannot be boarded. I do get upset if another pet is eating when I am not. So if there is another dog, we should eat at the same time.
