 Unless otherwise stated, the adoption fee for dogs over 5 months starts at $120.00. Puppies under 5 months are $175.00. Cats over 1 year are $35.00, kittens under 1 year old are $60.00. Dog adoption fees include a microchip. Cats can be microchipped by request for an additional $10.00. The adoption fee includes the animal's surgery, vaccinations, flea preventative, deworming medication, sample bag of food/treat samples and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Shelter policy and 2018 Indiana state law decrees all animals must be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. Our shelter is open to the public on Monday- Saturday from 8:00 am -5:00 pm EST with the exception of Wednesdays on which we typically open by 1:00 pm. If you would like to make an appointment to meet one of our many adoptable animals, please send an email to us at pvchs@joink.com. ❤️Lady❤️ She is the most adoptable of the 3. She is a 14 yr old Pointer mix, and was pulled from IACS last September just in the nick of time. She was malnourished and had pyometra, so was sent off for an emergency spay. She is wonderful! She doesn’t act like a 14 yr old at all. She likes to play ball and runs like a younger dog after her ball. She does need to be on Proin for the remainder of her life, and she does great on it. No more leaks! Lady really likes her kitty friends, and I often find them sleeping together. She is ok with some other dogs who don’t get in her face or confront her and like their own space, but would enjoy being an only dog with a kitty friend or 2, for sure. She does not like, nor need to be crated. I just had blood work done on her and everything came back normal!😊

We'll have fun no matter what we do! * Kyra is a sweet girl who enjoys attention and loves being near people. She will give little kisses for and leans in for petting. She is looking for a home where she will get lots of attention from her adopter. She's also a fun and spunky girl looking for an adopter who will get her daily play time and appropriate exercise. Kyra is looking for home where she can be a single pet.
