Holly is 2-3 years old and loves all people. She comes from Louisiana where she has successfully lived in a home with 21 other dogs. Her owner is in congestive heart failure and unable to care for her. She is 83 lbs and needs to go on a diet. Perfect energy for older people. She is great in the car and good on the leash, house trained and has good house manners. She will be an excellent companion to just about anyone and would make an excellent emotional support dog. Donnie is a sweet, loving, and very energetic dog who needs a fur ever home with a person or family who can give him the physical and mental stimulation he so badly needs. Our family adopted Donnie 4 years ago, and he proved to be very bright and a fast learner, but was clearly more comfortable with women than with men, and responded only to me (not my husband) during training. About 6 months after adopting him, Donnie had his first epileptic seizure, and from there slowly developed separation anxiety, and sound anxiety (fireworks/ thunder) jumped the 4 ft Fence every time he went outside, paced throughout the house, and has gotten much more difficult to take on walks. Around the same time this started both myself and my husband started new career paths that changed our schedules drastically, then I became pregnant with our second baby. All the changes in our lives has increased his anxiety and he deserves to live a stress free happy loving life, that sadly we can no longer provide.

Belle is just over a year old (16 months). My daughter brought her home from a local rescue - unfortunately without consulting my wife and I. So, there's our first issue as it often falls on me to take care of "her" dog while she is working or out for the night. My other dog is an 11 y/o Westie - this is the second issue as "Wendy the Westie" is a dominant female and is not friendly with Belle. Belle, of course, wants to play with Wendy who pretty much rejects any attempt Belle makes to play. Belle has loads of energy and needs to run and play a lot. She gets along fantastically with other dogs (except my Westie doesn't seem to want her here :) ) and people. She is rambunctious (jumping on me/furniture) at times but I just crate her to calm down. She craves affection and does have quiet moments after sufficient exercise. She's a beautiful black and white dog around 50 pounds or so - it's just that my wife and I are both over 65 and we have another dog and we just can't handle two.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jack M and his family come to rescue from Texas. He is a pup to Bailey, and is thought to be a Heeler/Pointer mix. He was born in June 2018. Jack M did have an unfortunate incident during birth - his toes were torn off. We are unsure at this time what the long term impact will be since he is so very little and not yet fully mobile. He has been getting around just fine and it seems at this point that he may need a booty later to protect the foot but not necessarily a prosthetic. He does not let his deformity slow him down and loves to race around with his siblings! He is a sweet and playful boy! He can sometimes be a little nervous around strangers and because it may take some time for him to adjust and warm up we feel a home with older, respectful children would be best suited for Jack. Jack will be up to date on shots (age appropriate) and neutered prior to placement in his forever home. He is great with other dogs.
