Birdie is a loving girl who puts her heart into everything she does! Her passions include: play time, going for quiet walks, snuggling up to humans, investigating strange smells, and learning new things. She has done well with other dogs both with her previous home and in our care, but she prefers to be an only dog so does not have to share the attention. She was an outdoor dog but is catching on fast to living indoors. This gentle girl is already potty trained and does well in the house. We bet she will steal your heart! We believe Birdie is a Pointer mix. She is about 3 years old and weighs 46lbs. She's been spayed, vaccinated, heart worm tested (negative), microchipped, and is current on parasite prevention. Adoption donation: $100Age restrictions: No toddlers for intense play

Jake was found as a stray in July. I had him neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped with all intentions of keeping him. Jake is about a year Old. I have other dogs ( 1 female and 4 males). Jake does not like one of the males. They all play together great. However Jake has a tendency to show aggression towards my one male. If it wasn’t for that I’d keep him. Jake loves to play, he loves his snuggle time, belly rubs and of course food or treats. He loves walks and just exploring. Jake is currently In obedience training and is doing well. Jake has stunning blue eyes that are sure to capture your heart.

Bandit is a pointer/beagle mix (we think).  He is approximately a year old and has graduated from our STAR Inmate Training Program 1/5/20 where he learned several commands.  He is very sweet natured, loves to play and is affectionate. Need a well behaved, loyal and devoted companion who has lots of love to give? Zoey is not a big fan of toys, but loves treats and people. She also enjoys lazy mornings and sleeping in on basically any soft surface. Zoey gets along with other dogs, but isn’t a big fan of obnoxious or annoying ones, but who really is…. :)? Funny thing she does: This girl is an attention hog and will actually will push her way into the action. She is a bit of a diva, but that just adds to her charm. Most endearing qualities: She loves to give you a sweet peck when you bend down. She actually smiles and it is so cute when she does it. Skills: House broken, Crate trained, Leash trained, and rides well in a car. Note: Is on maintenance medication for hip. 5 Years Old-70 pounds-Adoption cost $100

Thor was picked up on the streets of Collinsville by the animal control. No one ever claimed him so he is now at WWAH awaiting a forever home. Thor is around 2-3 years old, knows some commands, and is very friendly. However, he can escape from low fences so a high fence is a must! Adoption fee for Thor is $125 and includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip, testing for heartworms and tick diseases

If you need more info please email. We don't have anyone to call you, all of our volunteers work full time.Snugly Oreo. This little guy will steal your heart! He is a snuggle buddy. Oreo is a 10 week old Pointer mix(best guess). He has had age appropriate puppy shots, has been neutered, microchipped, is on heartworm prevention, and flea & tick medicine. He gets along great with all the other dogs at his foster home. You must have another dog for him to play with and a fenced yard. Adoption fee is $125. He is happiest when he is on my lap or laying with one of the other dogs. He loves to play outside. He is approx 4 1/2 Months old now.
