They told them how cute I look and how loving I am and its true! I love everyone dogs, cats, kids I love new friends. Applications ALWAYS take precedence over inquiries. 3/25/19: please email adarrescue@yahoo.com for application. These two smallish pups need to stay together. Because of that the rescuers and foster family are sponsoring there adoption fees. So the only expense for adopter would be the transport fee.🐾🚐🐾 This is a quote from their foster. "Adorable pups need a great home. Chip and Camille are lively, sweet and affectionate. These precious dogs were found in danger of being hit by cars on an Interstate in Alabama, and although their owner was eventually identified, he declined to pick them at the shelter. They are about a year old, healthy, spayed and neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. They weigh 25-30 pounds. Chip and Camille are likely littermates, and because they are bonded, we want to ensure that they will stay together. They are looking for a home with a safely fenced yard for play, warm beds, and most importantly, people who will cherish them." Then a few add on comments. They are the tightest and self contained of units. These two will need patient adopters due to some of their more annoying habits. However, their sweetness makes up for it. They are housebroken. Terrible on leashes—we carry them instead! Do not know about cats or kids. They get along with all of our dogs. Camille is particularly easygoing and plays well with everyone. Chip plays well and will snuggle with our other dogs on beds after playing. They are not food-aggressive with people or dogs. However, I note that Chip will bark and snap (not bite) at our dogs if the dog approaches while Chip is on the sofa with me, so he can be a bit territorial. Interested, Request an application. * adoption fee is $485 which covers: *All age appropriate DHPP vaccines *Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vax *Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older BEFORE leaving on transport *utd on flea/tick prevention *utd on heartworm prevention *spay or neuter of pet *bi-weekly worming *heartworm test @ age 6 months or older *fostering costs *transport (included in the above adoption fee) *health certificate *We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.

Welcome Romeo. He is a 2-year-old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. He has a robust body with the really floppy down ears. He is good with other dogs, good with people and ready for his forever home. He is submissive and will belly flop if another dog challenges him. He is an active boy so his best home would be with someone that likes to hike, jog, run or be active. He will settle down for a snuggle too after he has had his play time. He is good with people and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. He was pulled off the euthanasia list and is now in CCPAL Rescue looking for his forever home. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Meet Salem Bailey, he's a one-year-old large Lab Pointer mix, stunning in color, who's just a big, goofy baby. He loves people and other dogs, but has no manners and needs an owner with a strong hand. Salem is so excited to meet everyone he sees, which he shows by standing up to give big sloppy kisses- this could be a little much for small children, or those unused to having a dog in the home. He has a ton of energy and would love buddies to play with. Salem still has some puppy clumsiness, trying to control his long legs - we would not suggest him for apartment or tight space living. He is working on his house and leash training, needing a family that will help him learn and grow. From Salem's foster mom: Salem is such a sweet boy who just wants to be a part of a family. Although he has lots of energy, with walks and exercise he is a peach and just wants to snooze at your feet. He is super smart, affectionate and trusting.  He has very quickly adopted us as his family.
