SWEET BOY!!!UPDATE 4/2/2020:  Milford is a sweet stray that seems to be a Pointer/Hound mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs a very thin 30 pounds.  Milford was picked up in Nelson County but brought to Amherst County Animal Control.  He is now the most recent addition to the dogs being cared for at our Almost Home Pet Adoption Center in Nelson County.  He has the coat and beautiful amber eyes of a Pointer with the head and speckled legs of a Red Tick hound.  He has a few wounds on his back that were healing when he was found. Milford seems to be very dog friendly and loves affection.  We will write more about this very sweet soul as we learn more about him. Meet Memphis! Memphis is a 48lb 3-year-old female pointer/pit mix with beautiful short brindle hair. She yearns for the space to be able to freely run around outside. Plastic toys and toys with squeakers are her favorite, and she won't say no to a bone filled with peanut butter. She is well-behaved around others that she has met and feels safe around, and really loves to sit and snuggle with her people. Give her your attention and love, and she'll be your best friend.
