HI -  I'M HELEN MEYER!   I am the supermodel of pit bull mixes!  I am a stunning 5-year-old pit-Greyhound mix, with a beautiful slender body and long legs. It is a gorgeous site to watch me chase a ball as I look almost like a gazelle.  I am energetic in a good way and fun loving.    I want to hug you when you greet me, and I love giving kisses and receiving belly rubs.  I have perfect leash manners and would make a  great hiking or walking buddy.  If you see me in person, it looks like I'm wearing eyeliner to enhance my beautiful eyes.  I do well with most male dogs and prefer males to females.  No cats please.  I'm spayed, up-to-date on my vaccines and ready for a home to call my own.  I weigh about 55 lbs. only! Can you foster or adopt me?    My adoption fee of $400 covers spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, rabies, bordetella, heartworm test, microchip, health certificate, and other costs. The adoption fee helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help us pay down our veterinary bills.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization.  Please email for an adoption application.

Shizac is a loving, super friendly dog who is thrilled to have human and doggie company. He frequently has kids and adults come to his house and happily greats them with a wagging tail. Shizac has a lot of playful energy and would make a wonderful addition to an active home. He runs around with a huge smile on his face and is just waiting to become part of your family! NOTE: In many cases, these dogs are located in La Paz, BCS, Mexico in foster homes. We transport them to their adopted homes via air transport with a volunteer.

Hi I'm Mila! I love love LOVE to snuggle....with humans or pups! When I'm not snuggling, I'm playing with my foster brother. We LOVE to wrestle and chase each other. I'd love a foster sibling, but I'd be ok on my own too. I've lived with a cat before, but I showed quite a bit of interest in it… so no cats for me please. I'm a big fan of kids because they seem to love to pet me and I seem to love to be pet by them. As you can tell I'm a super good girl, but it gets better.... I'm house trained AND crate trained. (This is a courtesy posting.) Hi, my name is GIBBY. Don't ask me why! I have no idea. What's your name? Nice to meet ya! Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I definitely want a home with a fenced-in yard so I can run and play and be safe. (You may see me posted in other cities looking for my new home.) Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Pointer/Retriever mix. I am 2 years old! I weigh 50 pounds. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered and I have a microchip, whatever THAT is. I am house-trained. YAY me!!! Story
Brynn is an amazing sweet and very spoiled 4 yr old dog. We bought her from a reputable dog breeder with the intention of hunting birds. We had her trained professionally and then life changed and we only took her hunting once. She loved it!! Well several years later she still has the joy of chasing after birds but as we live in town with no real grass, space or time (due to our jobs) she is bored!! This is the ONLY reason we are looking into rehoming her. She is super loving, gets along great with other dogs, plays gently with our grandkids and believes herself to be a giant lapdog. She would love to play with kids, you or other dogs all day and to be able to run! She is kennel trained, but also does really well alone in a room. She doesn’t chew the furniture or dig holes, and loves to go for rides in the car. She does have one medical issue of frequent urination and takes Proin 50mg with her meals to help with that. Otherwise she is super healthy, and very happy.
