My name is Merdock, a proud Celtic name derived from the Norse word for "Sea Warrior." So I'm a tiny, 17-pound, 2 1/2-year-old sea warrior, and don't you forget it. Maybe that's why I'm considered a "difficult" dog. You know, like a movie star who is hard to work with? What I'm looking for is an extraordinary person. Someone who has patience and TLC to give to a little guy like me. Do you think you can handle a tiny "sea warrior?" Let's talk specifics. I'm house and crate trained, and I know how to walk on a leash, but I don't know how to react if I encounter stuff like cars, people, other dogs. So I go "crazy" barking. I'm told I need confidence and practice. Will you give me some? What are my bad traits? I'm demanding & stubborn, I don't like visitors, I don't want to share you with other dogs, cats, or kids under 12, and I think I'm the boss. Not too bad, right? But my good traits far outweigh the bad ones. I'm charmingly cute, no, I mean really cute, I don't shed much, I love to warm your lap and let you give me love. And I love toys and playing fetch, but nope, I won't bring it back to you... it's mine! What I need is someone who understands "difficult" little dogs and is willing to go the extra mile - I am so worth it. And if we have visitors, you can always put me in my crate until they get settled (so I don't bark) Do you think you can handle a tiny "sea warrior" like me?
