Story
Daphne is a 10 year old jack Russell/Pomeranian mix. She is older but still very much full of energy. I bought Daphne when she was about 12 weeks old from PetLand. She is micro chipped, house trained and will be up to date on her vaccinations. Daphne has no known health issues, but disclaimer: she very much high anxiety. She barks a lot and is scared of thunderstorms and fireworks. Medications do not usually help with this anxiety, but her thundershirt does. Daphne also has separation anxiety which causes excessive barking and "accidents" which is why she is kept in a crate if we are not home. Daphne is in a home with no other pets and 2 small children, however I think she would thrive in a home with no pets and no children. Daphne requires a lot of love and attention and is most definitely a "lap dog."

Story
Hi Everyone! My name is Seraphina and I am one cute puppy! I am sweet, petite, and very active, just waiting for that special someone to fall in love with all of my cuteness and take me to my forever home. People are a little scared about a small condition I developed at 4 weeks old, but trust me, it is really no big deal. My vulva is inverted, meaning that it sits on the inside, instead of the outside of my skin, but it is completely covered up by a little bit of extra skin, so you really can't see it. All I ask is that you keep me as clean as possible "down there". Many times, this even corrects itself as I grow up . . . now, moving on to more important things about me.As I said before, I am active, spunky, and always climbing on top of my brothers since birth. I'm the oldest, what can I say? In addition to being very playful, I just love playing with my toys! I will take attention from anyone, but I'm not really a cuddler. Although I enjoy and want to play with other dogs, get ready for gametime (it's that first-born thing again). I eat really well and my foster mom is working on housebreaking with me. After all, I'm just a puppy! I do go outside to do my business, but I'm still using the paper inside too. I'm very smart and already will sit nice for treats. I do a little of the puppy nipping and I jump around a lot. Training will begin with my next set of shots and I hope that my new family will continue taking me to keep learning new things (free of charge), so that I can turn into the perfect little girl!If I sound like the pup for you, please fill out an adoption application at :almosthomefoundation.orgThe adoption fee is $475 which includes deworming, microchipping, 3 sets of puppy shots, rabies and neuter when old enough. After his/her neuter, you will get a $55 refund.Email: puppies@almosthomefoundation.orgAlmost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:(1) Be at least 21 years of age;(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;(3) Have approval from the residence owner;(4) Have valid ID with current address;(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash or checks for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***

Story
Roxy was rescued from a massive backyard breeding/hoarding situation back in November. She was one of a number of pregnant females. Some of these rescued dogs were super social and others not so much. Roxy is one that had to overcome a lot of anxiety and learn to trust. Her foster mom's time, patience, and effort paid off because Roxy now adores her. Roxy still gets nervous if things are too fast, sudden, or loud. She is working on potty training. She will go potty outside in the fenced yard but does still have accidents. On January 15th, Roxy had 5 sweet little girls. She has been an amazing mama! She keeps a very close eye on her pups and always wants to know where they are. She has done her job as a mama, and that was the very last time she'll ever have to. Now it's her time! Roxy isn't your social butterfly that wants to meet everyone. But once you have her trust, you mean the world to her! She loves other dogs, getting zoomies in the yard, finding all the dog toys and chews (and sometimes even that occasional thing she shouldn't). You can hardly blame her; this is her first time roaming around a house instead of living in a crate. Do you have it in your heart to win Roxy over? Please fill out an application if you do.Adoption fee is $320Email: dogs@almosthomefoundation.orgAlmost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:(1) Be at least 21 years of age;(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;(3) Have approval from the residence owner;(4) Have valid ID with current address;(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and`(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash or checks for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
