Story
Meet Goldie! He is approximately 10-years-old and 10 pounds. He is a sweet senior boy that is unfortunately missing most of his fur, most likely due to black skin disease and/or flea allergies. He was completely bald when he entered our rescue a couple months ago, and his fur is finally starting to come back in. He is a great little guy that deserves a forever home despite his appearance, and we hope someone can see his true potential and love him just the way he is. Goldie, or Snowball as his foster likes to call him, does great with other animals and doesn't mind kids. He can be a bit protective at times of his person and does struggle with separation anxiety. He is not a huge fan of the kennel, but he quiets down after a while. Unfortunately his foster has not been able to potty train him, but she has great success reducing marking with washable belly bands. Goldie walks well on a leash and loves going on car rides! He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, microchipped, and recently had a dental. He is $150 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees. We do not ship or transport our dogs. We require all adopters to meet the dog in person to ensure it is a good fit. We represent the dog to the best of our ability and since they are in rescue, we do not always get their history. Please note: We are a non-profit Pomeranian Rescue with dogs in private foster homes. We do not have a facility open to the public. We require an approved application before a potential adopter is introduced to a dog. We contact vet references to ensure animals in the home are current on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and sterilization. We do not adopt our dogs to homes in which an animal is not spayed or neutered. A home visit may be required. Please visit our website for more information and an adoption application. www.recycledpomsbcs.com

Story
Meet Dora! This beautiful girl is approximately 8-years-old and 9 pounds. She is a Pomeranian/Poodle mix, with the cutest scowl face and curly fur! Don't let her scowl fool you though, she really is a sweet girl! Dora came into rescued after being thrown from a moving vehicle and sustaining a neck injury. Luckily, the injury was not serious and just causes some stiffness in her head movements. This sweet girl is not necessarily a snuggle bug, but she's learning to trust and will be the perfect little companion given some time and patience. She's learning to go potty outside, walk in a harness/leash, and be content in her kennel. She is on arthritis medication for her neck stiffness and is doing great! She is spayed, vaccinated, heart worm negative, microchipped, and recently had a dental. She is $250 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees. Story
Meet Mystery! This little boy is an 8 year old that weighs about 11 pounds. He’s a handsome boy that happens to have a bit of an attitude. He’s friendly in his core, but he’s not the biggest fan of being picked up. He’ll also get protective of anything you try to take away from him. We’re hoping to find him the perfect pawrent, definitely someone that knows the breed and has experience and patience to help Mystery with some of his ‘issues.’ Someone that can show him some love, and show him he doesn’t need to act out. Teach him the ways of a good boy that’s got his past behind him and has only good times ahead for the rest of his life! He’s not a lap dog, and prefers to get comfy on the floor by his human’s feet. Kids that don’t yet understand a pet like Mystery has boundaries are not for him. We’d consider a family with respective children. He’s fine with other dogs though and does not need to be the only pet. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is $300 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees. Story
Est DOB 4/01/18 Current weight 11 lbs Another poor baby that REALLY deserves to find his forever home…. Sweet little Oschner has NOT been treated very kindly and has suffered from some MINOR, and TREATABLE skin issues/hair loss. (That’s why his coat doesn’t look as good as it will SOON.) He is a little timid at first, but EXCEPTIONALLY SWEET, despite how he has been mistreated. He is a male/neutered Pomeranian/Papillon mix born on 04/01/18 and he currently weighs about 11 lbs. He is also heartworm positive WHICH MEANS: 1.       He CANNOT give heartworms to ANY people or animals (It can ONLY be caught if an animal is NOT on preventative AND is bitten by an infected mosquito. Please feel free to Google this!) 2.       He will need to receive his heartworm preventative on the 1st of every month AND he will need an ADDITIONAL DOSE THAT WE WILL GIVE YOU FOR FREE UNTIL HE IS CURED on the 15th of each month- THAT’S IT!! This is a slow-kill method that takes 1-2 years to completely cure heartworm, but it is the method we recommend because it is gentler on the animal’s system. This guy needs and deserves a good home and if you have ANY questions or concerns about heartworm, you can comment here, anytime. Many of our volunteers have adopted HW+ dogs and would do so again. Please email MuttsAndMeows@Mail.com TODAY to fill out an application!! This dog is heartworm positive but please do not rule him/her out because of it. There's a treatment that is not as hard on the dog as the one you may have heard of and it's FREE.$150 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care.Like us on Facebook - search Mutts & Meows - and help even more pets find loving homes.
