Meet Goldie! He is approximately 10-years-old and 10 pounds. He is a sweet senior boy that is unfortunately missing most of his fur, most likely due to black skin disease and/or flea allergies. He was completely bald when he entered our rescue a couple months ago, and his fur is finally starting to come back in. He is a great little guy that deserves a forever home despite his appearance, and we hope someone can see his true potential and love him just the way he is. Goldie, or Snowball as his foster likes to call him, does great with other animals and doesn't mind kids. He can be a bit protective at times of his person and does struggle with separation anxiety. He is not a huge fan of the kennel, but he quiets down after a while. Unfortunately his foster has not been able to potty train him, but she has great success reducing marking with washable belly bands. Goldie walks well on a leash and loves going on car rides! Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees.
We do not ship or transport our dogs. We require all adopters to meet the dog in person to ensure it is a good fit. We represent the dog to the best of our ability and since they are in rescue, we do not always get their history.
Please note: We are a non-profit Pomeranian Rescue with dogs in private foster homes. We do not have a facility open to the public. We require an approved application before a potential adopter is introduced to a dog. We contact vet references to ensure animals in the home are current on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and sterilization. We do not adopt our dogs to homes in which an animal is not spayed or neutered. A home visit may be required.
