Story
Holly is a 10 year old pug and has been in our family since she was a baby. She’s has been a wonderful dog. She gets along with all pets, kids and everyone ! I need to find a better home for her because I now work long hours and and she needs extra care. I want more than anything to find her a loving home! She has some small medical issues and really should be with a single person or couple who are around a lot and can give her the love and attention that she deserves. As an elderly pug she is beginning to experience nerve damage in her lower back and legs . She is still completely mobile but has lost some feeling. As such she needs a home where she can be taken out to the bathroom several times each day. If you are interested in adopting her, I will make sure to take her to the vet for a wellness check plus make sure she is up to date on all required vaccines. I will also include 6 months worth of food and a 3 month supply of anti itching medication.

Story
Ruby and Chandler are 15 year old male and female, fixed siblings. They have always been together. We have three children. Unfortunately, one of them has experienced many rare childhood illnesses and diseases and soon after his second birthday developed severe allergies to our dogs. We've tried to make them comfortable outside with shelter, heating pads, a nice long run, etc. however we are very limited on how much we can sit down and snuggle with them, brush them, and normal activities as we have to be sooo careful not to bring anything back inside with us. We are trying to right by them and by our children. Ideally, they could be companion dogs at home for someone retired or someone who works from home. They just want to be close and get their bellies rubbed. They are not on any current medications.

Story
This is Liz! Liz is 11 years old and came to us from Wishing Well Ranch. She was kenneled with 3 other dogs on her rescuer's patio. Liz is incredibly fearful after her rescue. She darts and hides, and had to drag a leash for quite some time here at Frosted Faces. She eventually learned the routine and runs in and out of the Littles play yard with the rest of the pack. As she decompresses, she is starting to seek out pets from regular volunteers. But, reach too fast and off she goes! Liz is fearful, but not bitey. She will benefit from a patient family that will allow her to open up in her own time.  Liz is a lucky girl and got picked to go on a Frosted Fling with one of our All Star Flingers! Liz ate a diet of mixed wet and dry food. She did not like the homemade food the resident dogs ate. She is easy to please! Liz had a few accidents at first, but once she got the hang of the routine, she could follow the resident dogs outside to go potty. She does not walk on a leash, but Liz seemed to enjoy being held for short walks around the neighborhood. Liz did not really interact with the other dogs in the house, but did not mind them or the cat in the household either. Liz was very shy around new people and took a while to accept soft pets from her Fling mom. Her Fling family says, "Working with such as scared little girl was a challenge, but very rewarding to see her progress. She only came out of her safe space a few times and only for a short distance. On the last day of our Fling, I found Liz up on the couch - all on her own. I was excited and happy to see her finally comfortable to come out on her own. Liz is a shy, timid girl. Liz lived a good part of her life in a kennel. She needs patience and love to continue to become more comfortable around people and in a home environment." Liz in on another two-week Frosted Fling. Check back soon to see how she progresses!   Visit us at Open House: Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am – 1 pm CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19 Learn more about our programs at www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family.
