Musts for The Opalina- Will Not consider applications which do not speak volumes of amazing! Must have another playful large to medium size dog She loves kids!  Backyard a must!  Minimal stairs or understanding of physical needs; Opalina has some mental and physical quirks which by no means slow her down. Stairs are difficult and her processing makes her the most enjoyable pup but definitely is a bit special. She is aloof, independent and loves to play.  Not much of a snuggler but an adventurous Lil soul!

Do you like to snuggle while binge watching your favorite show ? How about hiking or going for long walks ? Can you throw a ball ? Yes, Yes & YES !!! Wow I am excited cause these are my favorite things.  My name is Jacky & I am originally from Texas, so I love the sun. They say I am a 2.5 year old Beagle/Puggle mix but some people think I have some boxer mixed in there too. But I don't care what you are as long as you treat me well & love me.  Sometimes I make mistakes & I am learning. It is best if you leave an old slipper/shoe out when you leave for a few hours & don't crate me. I just like to have something that smells like you. If you take the time to teach me right from wrong I will love you more than words can express, my kisses might tell you how much I LOVE YOU !! I did spend some time wondering on the streets before coming to 2BABR so when it's feeding time I get really excited, I'll even do a dance for you. My foster got me a maze bowl which helps me slow down when eating so I don't get indigestion. Do they make those bowls for humans ? if so you humans may need it too.  But I am not judging.  I am with another dog right now & we get along. If I had my say I'd like to be with a younger dog... she is 16 yrs old & doesn't want to play with me. Luckily I get to play with my foster & do well independently.  Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Foster family says:  I have Bucky. She has been a lot of fun. Very energetic. I’ve taken her on walks around the neighborhood and she gets very excited she sees other dogs/cats/people. She’s very lovable, likes sleeping right next to me when she naps.  I do have to keep an eye on her cause she likes to chew on things and jump up on anything... furniture, tables, etc. She can jump pretty high. I’ve given her some toys, her favorite is a cloth chew toy. Adoption Deposits are accepted now on all dogs.  Simply make the total donation by clicking donate above.  You will specify it is a Adoptoin Deposit and verify which dog it is for. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at an adoption event you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be refunded minus a 10% administration fee. In-person adoptions will begin on the date of a dog's first event provided they are still available.  Dogs not adopted during their first event will attend additional events thereafter until adopted.  An adoption application online is required prior to viewing our dogs. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).   Adopters can go to our vet for medical issues that may arise in 1st 3 days of adoption.    The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up at our adoption events, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   ##622832##
