Story
Meet Rockey!!! This handsome guy found himself at a local overcrowded shelter! He’s an adorable Pug Mix. We believe he’s around 7 years old and he weighs 22 lbs. He’s a super friendly boy who doesn’t meet a stranger. He’s great with other animals. He walks well on a leash. He loves romping and playing with others. Walks great on a leash and rides in the car. He just likes to be with people. He has done great with all the kids he’s been around as well. He’s a great all around boy. He is being fostered by the AWESOME Unleashed doggy daycare in Daphne. He’s the cutest pug mix you ever did see. Rockey does have a chronic cough which he is on meds for. This could be a lifetime issue as the xrays of his lungs showed damage. This doesn’t slow him down one bit though. The cough is worse when excited. He is utd, hw tested and neutered. Get your apps in on this cuteness. All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $100 is due at pick up!. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact Parkway Animal Hospital as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue.
