With a great energy level and a puppy-like spirit, he’s always on the go, especially when there are bones or stuffed animals to chew on. He’s very food-driven, making him highly motivated for training and bonding moments. Rocky loves to be around people and has made it clear that he wants to be part of whatever’s going on, often following his human around the house. While he’s done well on a leash in the backyard, he prefers being outside with someone else by his side. His heart is full of love and he’s looking for a family that will shower him with attention, playtime, and plenty of pets. Though he’s still learning to give his two dog housemates some space, his desire to engage and interact is his most charming trait.

My name is DOM and I'm a silly sweet 5y M 'Chug' (Chihuahua/Pug X) I'm 16 lbs of PURE LIL' CHUNK o' LOVE. I was given up by my owner due to NO TIME... That's ok because as I'm looking forward to my next home with someone that will be able to spend lots more time with me. I'm a super friendly easy going happy go lucky guy ...alert and peppy but medium energy. Sometimes I'd rather spend time at home hanging on the couch rather than going for a long walk so I'm a perfect city dog. I love other dogs and cats and young kids! SO I prefer to go with one of the 3 rather than be alone... unless you can take me everywhere with you! I'm housebroken, not an incessant barker, don't have separation anxiety and am not destructive.. can you say 'near perfect'? (I didn't want to say it because I'm not a bragger) I'm such a great furry co-pilot and I can't wait to go on lots of adventures with my next hooman. Come and meet me today! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Buffy did not have the best life so far.  She was rescued from ACC NY about 6 years ago.  She was adopted through another rescue into a home, but sadly the home was not great to her.  She never received vet care and was neglected and not given the attention she deserved.  They were going to dump her in a shelter, but somehow it got back to  her previous foster home that long time ago.  Buffy has a cherry eye that is getting fixed TODAY that she unfortunately had for years.  She is fully vetted also.  She loves walks, she is housebroken and crate trained.  She really just wants to be loved,  something she never really had in her past life.  She does take time to warm up to people, she was never socialized.  She needs a day or two,  and really prefers women over men.  She is good with other dogs, but very dominant with treats, so she gets treats separately just in case she drops hers and someone else tries to snatch it.  OH yeah,  she does not like that!  LOL. She is like a puggle type dog,  aproximately  35 lbs.  She has lost some weight since she has been here, which is good.  We just want her to finally get the life she deserves.  She really is low maintenance.  Loves her person once she knows them,  Loves walks, loves outside, loves car rides, loves treats,  completely housebroken,  good with other dogs.   Give this girl a warm bed and love her.  Its all she wants.  Here are new pictures.  Surgery went well!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
