Story
Hi, I’m Jasmine, an 9 pound terrier mix, and like the flower, I’m so sweet that you’ll want to “pick me” to become part of your family.  I was rescued from a high-volume shelter and am so grateful to be in a home with other dogs and cats.  I love to cuddle up with the foster’s other gentle dog and do fine with the cats. I’m a special pet because I've got a neurological deficit that makes walking difficult but I've moved from needing a “wheel chair” to being able to get around on my own using just my front legs.  I’ll need a family willing to take me on short walks (I walk nicely on  a leash) or play with me no matter how I’m getting around at the moment.  I probably do fine with older considerate children who understand what my limitations are and won’t unintentionally hurt me by playing too rough.  I’m crate trained (presently have a bed and puppy pads in my crate) and I'm good in the house but presently using a diaper since I may have a urine leak and I don't even know it.  I’m just a sweet lovable dog who knows the one command that every dog should know – KISSES!  And I’m very good at that command.  If you would like a meet and greet, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com to find out if I will be coming to the SCP Adoption Event at Clear Lake Petco on Saturday so you can see how great I am. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies) which includes State of Texas sales tax.

Story
I am HW+ My rescue will cover treatment IF treatment is done at OUR preferred facility. Ruby is a senior momma who is looking for a home where she can live out her retirement years. Ruby is a Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier mix. She’s about 15 pounds and estimated to be between 5-7 years old and fully vetted. Ruby came to us pregnant and alone, after her previous owner went to prison. On January 2nd she welcomed three adorable puppies and is doing a fantastic job as a new mom. Her puppies are now 8 weeks old and Ruby is spending more and more time away from them to prepare them for life on their own. In just a few more weeks, Ruby will be ready for adoption and wanting to find her furever home. Ruby is very low maintenance and is the lazy pet owners dream. She has the best parts of being a terrier (smart, quick, alert, funny, loyal) with none of the bad qualities. She’s calm, laid back, rarely barks, doesn’t beg at the table, and takes up very little space. She doesn’t shed much and she knows all the basic commands. Ruby is crate and potty trained. She doesn’t dig in the yard and doesn’t try to jump fences. Ruby gets along fabulously with my 65 lb Golden Retriever, and loves my three young children, including the 11 month old. Ruby’s perfect home would involved a lot of laying around. She likes to be lazy, watch tv, and snuggle. She will spend all day in your lap if you let her. Ruby deserves to find a permanent home where she can finally relax and know what is to be loved unconditionally. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES. If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

Story
Hello, Mason is approximately 2.5 years old. We rescued him from Mason Park in Houston, TX along with his brother, Brownie. There were also two more dogs that were from their pack that have been adopted. Mason is super gentle. He loves chasing squirrels and birds in the yard. He plays well with other dogs. When he first meets you he is very timid. It doesn't take long for him to warm up to you though!

Story
Socks knows his basic commands. He is Fixed & Vaccinated. He is my foster pup but turning into a Foster fail. 9mo old. Smart Boy. Knows a few tricks. Will work for treats. Lots of energy! Short attention span because he is Insecure. Very Nervous Dog naturally. Don’t Believe he was ready for the Wild energy of this Household. For More 1 on 1 training and attention. Very sweet. Would be best for a single person Household. He knows “Potty Outside.” Works Best on a Harness. He Is a Submissive. Not an Aggressive But he can be Protective.
