Story
I started my life in South Carolina where I ended up in a high kill shelter and these awesome people came to save me. I haven't had the best life so far so I could use some help learning how to walk on a leash. I am heartworm positive, but BDRR will continue my treatment after I'm adopted and it's not contagious so I can still live with other dogs. I'm a little shy at first so please be patient and give me time to get comfortable in a new situation. I don't have a ton of energy, but I am very sweet and would love to show you if you give me the opportunity. I would love to become your newest family member!I am looking for that special someone to adopt me and give me a forever home. If you're interested in adopting me, please visit our website and fill out the adoption form online at http://bdrr.org/adoption-form; Or contact Big Dog Ranch Rescue by Phone: (561) 791-6465 or (561) 309-3311; by Email: adoptions@bdrr.org

Story
Meet Scarlet, an almost 2-year-old redbone coonhound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was found as a stray in Cherokee County, Alabama, alongside her sister's five puppies after her sister was tragically hit by a car. Scarlet was surrendered to Big Dog Ranch and is settling in quite well as she focuses on her health. Redbone coonhounds are known for their friendly disposition and strong hunting instincts. They are intelligent, energetic dogs that thrive on companionship and love to be active. Scarlet is eager to share her affectionate nature with a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion ready to embark on new adventures, Scarlet would be the perfect addition to your home!

Story
Hillary is the sweetest girl. She loves to snuggle, wrestle, play fetch and gets along great with her foster siblings, both male and female, she also does well with cats. She is a joy around children as well. Hillary has lots of energy, she'd make a great exercise companion.  Hillary is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 4 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you)  To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT.  Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass or Florida, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted, or in some cases in our very small private kennel facility on Martha’s Vineyard. To learn more about our rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of FAQ’s on our website at WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM. **The FIRST step in adopting an animal from our rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. ONLY UPON APPROVAL will an adoption coordinator contact you to schedule a meet and greet. Please allow up to 2 weeks for application processing, if you do not hear back from Sandy Paws Rescue inc. within 3 weeks, your application was not approved. ##590692##
