Story
We rescued Roscoe from a shelter and the vet said he was about a year old. We have had him for 6 years now. He is a great dog! We love him so much. He does get a little anxious if you react fast and will bark. He has never bit anyone before. Roscoe needs his rabies shot. Also, he is not bad with kids but if not the most gentle. He would probably be better off without kids. He is very protective of our daughter but will also knock her over if he hears someone at the door. He does let her climb on him and feed him and take his food. He is a great guard dog and loves to follow you around everywhere. He does not like being alone. He gets along with our other dog (they must go together) but may not do great with others.

We love Judah to death, he is the sweetest. He is friendly and amazing with children- we have 5! He is an absolute family dog but he jumps our fence and runs through the in-ground electric fence I installed. He needs a large backyard with a tall fence that he can’t get out of. We have to get rid of him because we have had animal control called on us because he keeps getting out of our yard. He needs room to run with a tall fence. Other than him being able to jump a small fence and not obeying an electric fence, if we weren’t renting and could install a tall privacy fence, we would keep him. We want to find good owners for him!!! Please if you have a big yard and tall fence take our doggy! Our other option is the county animal shelter :(

Meet Pong! Pong, named for the original Atari game Pong, was Othela at the shelter. People loved the game Pong, because of the happy bounce of the ball - along with the fact that there were no other games like that! While there is no shortage of dogs at the shelter, we will admit that the happy bounce of this girl is one the first things that attracted u s to her!  Pong is a young girl - about 16 months old. We call her our super model, because she is tall and blonde, with long shapely legs!   She is an interesting combination of two predominant breeds - shepherd and red bone coonhound. From the back, she is all shepherd, from the shape of her legs, to her stance, and then her loping walk. But from the front, she's all hound, and with her coloring and webbed feet, we are pretty sure it's redbone coonhound! She is 100% adorable, and we fell hard for this girl, so we were delighted when she passed her assessment! At a current 62 pounds, she is probably at 95% of her growth. She's a smart girl, who is eager to learn, and eager to play. Pong would love to be in a home with another active dog, and a family that will enjoy her enthusiasm. She would likely make a good running partner, and would love outdoor activities with her family! If you like super models who want to play catch, and cuddle on the couch to watch a movie, pretty sure this girl might just be your cup of tea!
