Story
Just days after moving to Indiana we lost one of our two Cocker Spaniels when she dug out of a hole in the fence in her new yard and was hit by a car. We adopted LadyBird to be a companion to our other Cocker. Lady is a young girl who loves to play and rough house, she is very sweet and has a great spirit. Our cocker has had knee injuries and isn't nearly as mobile or playful as he once was. Because of this LadyBird frequently tramples our other dog re-injuring his knees. We are looking for a home for LadyBird where she will have other bigger active dogs.

Story
TAYLOR HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Meet Taylor, a 2-3-year-old male Redbone Coonhound mix looking for a home. Taylor is around 50 pounds and is a very sweet, timid, sensitive and gentle-natured fella. This handsome boy was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. We don't know much about his past but know that he is going to have a bright and happy future now that he is in the care of Pal's Place. He is currently in a loving and nurturing foster home in Chicago while he waits to meet his forever family. Taylor is quite timid when meeting new people and in new situations, but he does warm up to new people after several weeks. He is very shy, and sometimes runs away from strangers but has never snapped, growled or bitten and responds well to a few kind words and gentle coaxing (yummy treats also help!) He is going to do best in a more quiet home with very patient dog guardians who will give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and to adjust. It will most likely take him several weeks if not months to really settle into a new environment, so were are hoping to find adopters prepared to give him lots of time to feel comfortable in a new home. Taylor loves other dogs and will do best in a home with at least one other dog to help boost his confidence and show him the ropes. He is quiet and well behaved in the home and seems to be housebroken when kept on a regular schedule. He also is crate trained will often retreat into a kennel when he feels overwhelmed. With just a little extra TLC and lots of patience, Taylor will make a phenomenal companion for one lucky household! Since Taylor is in a foster home he can be seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. His adoption fee to the rescue is $275. This helps to cover his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. For more info or for an application please email palsplace1@hotmail.com •Taylor's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Taylor from euthanasia. • Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there! Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on dogs for more than a few days after an application has been submitted and approved, please do not apply until you are ready to welcome a dog into your home. • All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com.
