Rudy is ready for a new life in the new year! He is about 3 years old and came to us after being rescued from life on a chain. He is friendly, crate trained, and food motivated, so it should be easy to continue his training. Rudy is about 65 lbs. and energetic, so he would do best with older children. Rudy isn't a fan of cats, but does well with other bigger dogs; he plays a bit rough for smaller dogs. There was a time in Rudy's life when he didn't have enough food, so his foster family feeds him in a crate to manage mild resource guarding. Rudy is looking for some loving humans that will make him the family member that he was always meant to be. If you'd like more information, please let us know! Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. We hold a monthly adoption event on the last Saturday of each month from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at the new Center Grove Pet Valu store. 5885 N St Rd 135 Bargersville IN Direct questions to:  general@hopemariesfund.org

Story
I absolutely love my carlton. He is super super sweet and intune to his surroundings. He is a gentle giant and adores his little sister bella as well as his human sister:) he does well with kids, other dogs and loves people. He is a very social dog. I am very sad to be posting this but due to needing to move for safety reasons that I would be happy to explain in person or in email, I am afraid I would have to leave my dogs behind and that would not be good for them. So my next choice is to find them a loving home. It is with a heavy heart to have to post this:( I hope carlton finds the loving family that he deserves
