Story
Menina is a very timid puppy, she does come around to some dogs and likes to play with them.  She likes to run around and play more when no other dogs are around. She is a very sweet and loving dog.  She is a good lap dog. Meet Menina! She's a beautiful, but very shy 5 month old redbone coonhound mix. Menina is a great dog with tons of potential who is looking for a special family who will continue working with her to help her gain confidence and learn that Leaving interactions 100% up to her and using treats as rewards are great ways to gain her trust. She loves other dogs and is fine with cats also We highly recommend a fenced yard to ensure she stays safe and secure. She has a tendency t o run away if she's able. Menina is looking for a predictable home with very patient people who understand that it will take her not days but months to become completely comfortable. If you're willing to give her that time, you'll see, just as we have, that she is worth the wait! It will be incredibly rewarding to watch her become more trusting every day!
