Story
Nash is a sweet southern gentleman with eyes and ears almost as big as his heart. He is a dopey boy around 2 years old who loves to be silly and play with toys and bones until the nighttime, where he sleeps for about 12 hours straight. Nash loves everyone he meets and has great manners when it comes to being gentle and not jumping up. He would love to have a home with playful kids to run around in the backyard with or someone who is able to spend time in the great outdoors with him. Nash loves going for walks and following his nose, with that being said - he has likely never been on a leash before coming to Michigan and is still learning that there is a person on the other end. Nash is about 85 pounds right now and will need someone who is physically strong enough to control him on a walk - his nose is very strong and sometimes an alluring scent can be hard to resist for him. Nash will also need an above ground, fully-fenced yard - no exceptions. Nash is heartworm positive, but he is taking treatment like a champ and is set to have a clean bill of health by early summer. Nash loves other dogs and would enjoy having a playful sibling to run around with. He has not been tested with cats however his gentle nature leads his foster mom to believe he would do just fine with them. He is neutered, chipped and up to date on all shots. His adoption fee is $200. ##622128##

Story
Ollie is a 3 yr old treeing walker hound dog we bought him from a hound dog breeder at 8 wks old. He is a very loyal, loving, and protective dog who loves people he has lots of energy loves to play fetch, tug of war, catch toys in the air, etc. He would be a great hunting dog or just a family dog. Unfortunately, there are several reasons we have to find Ollie a new home first of all I have developed allergies to him, second our careers have changed from a home based daycare to working outside the home leaving Ollie home alone for 8-10 hrs a day. Lastly, Ollie has developed skin allergies of his own that after several visits to the vet we have not been able to resolve. The vet thought it was food allergies, but we have completely changed his diet to a high protein Kangaroo diet, no table food, no treats, and Rx meds for his itching, which has helped somewhat to control, but not a cure. I truly believe his skin sensitivities are environmental and sadly we can no longer care for him.
