This is graceful Sasha. She is about seven years old and was raised in a home with children (ages 3, 8 and 13). She is great with all people and other large dogs. A little shy at first, she warms right up and is very playful. She is also leash trained. Come meet this gentle girl!

We rescued this beautiful 6-1/2 year old (as March 2020) girl and she would love a forever home with you. She is fun and loving, loves people, likes a dip in the pool, and makes a great walking/hiking companion. She is picky about dogs that she gets along with and would do best as the only dog in the home. However, a passive male could make her a nice companion as well. Hurry in to meet her today! All he really wants is someone to love him. He has soft, thick fur that will make all your anxiety melt away when you pet his furry head or rub your feet on his back. Don't worry, Bailey likes the affection and the massage. He will guard your home as a loyal protector for your family. Bailey gets a bit anxious around children so his new home should be adult-only or have older children.

This is Dan (HWTH#20064A). He is a Vizsla/Shepherd mix, DOB: 3/17/17. Dan weighs approximately 30 pounds. Dan and Dodge were found in Rosamond by a friend of Halfway to Home. Dan has been relinquished to Halfway to Home so he can find the Forever home he deserves. This is a friendly boy who is a little timid on first introduction. Dan seems to have a calm personality but will be more active when he is comfortable in his new surroundings. Dan and Dodge are housed together at the rescue. They are house trained and use the doggy door. It will be imperative Dan's new owner be willing to give him the love, good-quality human companionship he craves as well as the structure, playtime, regular daily exercise and any additional training he might need to give him the best change of fitting in well in his new permanent home. When Dan is thoroughly settled, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with any and all obedience commands and with the bonding process. Dan should make a wonderful loyal canine companion. Dan is good with other dogs and is crate friendly.
