Story
***PLEASE READ*** REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT CHARLIE: *MUST LIVE IN TEMECULA OR MURRIETA, CA (Or no more than 30 mins away) *Medium sized yard (to play in) *FULLY Fenced, Secured yard *Another medium/large active and playful dog *Patience and a chance to come out of his shell *NO ACREAGE *Preferably Older Children Only Charlie's DOB is 03/07/19 and weighs just over 60 lbs. He is such an AMAZING dog who absolutely adores his family BUT due to no fault of his own, he is VERY SHY at first and will need extra time, patience, and love to come out of his shell and be the awesome dog that he truly is. While he is the sweetest, he is extremely sensitive and cautious around new people. Not mean at all, rather he needs you to understand that he will not become your best friend within a matter of minutes like some dogs. Instead he will want to RUN as far, as fast, and as strong as he can away from what he is afraid of. He only does this when you reach or hover over him but if you ignore him for just a little while, he will warm up to you faster. Charlie is not a dog for first time dog owners and will need a patient, confident, and loving home who will give him a chance to come out of his shell and show you how awesome of a dog he really is once he becomes comfortable. After getting past his shy stage, he is a typical puppy who LOVES to run, play, and dote on his family. He is super sweet, friendly, and loves to get lots of kisses and booty rubs. He is very active and would LOVE to go for walks/jogs/runs every day. He could quite possibly make a good hiking partner too! He walks great on leash, will keep up with you no matter what you're doing, and is easy to correct if he gets too ahead of himself. Charlie loves all other dogs and especially loves to play with them. He will not do well being the only dog in the home. And due to his energy and large size, he needs at least another medium-large dog that he can play tag, wrestle, and run with as well as socialize and borrow confidence from. Charlie is also great with cats and ignores them for the most part. They all eat together, sleep together, and sometimes play together (he is gentle with the cats if he plays with them). Charlie is house trained and will let you know when he has to potty. He sleeps through the night without a peep. He is crate trained however he is used to someone being home all the time. He is crated 3 hours max in his foster home. MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF TEMECULA, CA **PLEASE NOTE: Charlie will NOT do well with acreage. He NEEDS and thrives in a medium home with a secure, FULLY FENCED yard that he can play in. If interested in adopting Charlie, please fill out an adoption application online: www.hoperanchanimalsanctuary.org/adoption-application A copy of your application can be sent to us via email or text For more information about Charlie, please contact Kathy: Call/Text: (951) 515-4077 Email: k.haley.hope.ranch@gmail.com

Story
This is Oliver! 9-year old Oliver was surrendered by his family to the OC Shelter. With the help of some quick volunteers, we exited Oliver from the shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. I don't get too frustrated anymore when a dog is surrendered in poor condition like Oliver. It's all too common... Oliver had a giant mass on his belly and a bloody dangler on his lip. He had two ruptured CCLs and he could hardly put weight on his back legs. We did surgery to remove his masses and performed a bilateral TPLO to help with his painful, inefficient back legs. This surgery is not cheap and not one we often pursue on our Frosted Faces, but Oliver is one of our younger seniors who will thrive with the gift of mobility and comfort for many years, we hope! Oliver loves the company of humans. he brightens up and wanders behind you, as loyal as your own shadow. His big eyes fill with hope that you will lounge with him of the fluffiest of beds and let his head rest in your lap.  Oliver got to go on a 2-week Frosted Fling and we got to learn some great things about how he acts in a home! Oliver is not a picky eater. He loves to eat everything, but might have a sensitive stomach - he got a little gassy with certain types of foods so it might take some experimenting to find out what works well. Don't worry, your nose will let you know! Oliver seems to be house broken and did a good job doing his business outside once he learned his Fling family's schedule. Good boy, Oliver! Oliver seemed to do well with other dogs that he met on walks, but can get a little bit excited about meeting new friends at first. After some time to calm down, he played well with other dogs. Oliver is a meandering walker - where do you need to go so fast anyway? He is a quiet boy, and loves cuddles, but don't let that fool you. He loves to play! Oliver gets short spurts of energy after mealtimes where he will romp around, fetch stuffies, and chew on balls. His Fling family says, "Oliver is a fantastic dog. He is such a chill and quiet guy. If you're home, he's going to want to be in the same room as you. If you're not home, that's ok too! He's happy to nap, snack, or stare out the window while you're gone. We were really impressed with how amazing Olli was with us when we were eating. We like to eat at the coffee table near his bed, and he never once begged. He would lift his nose and sniff with curiosity, but he would never ever approach to beg. One of our favorite things about Oliver is that he is such a cuddle bug, and that he loved being tucked in for bed. We would cuddle to watch TV before bed each evening, and then I'd tuck him into a burrito before slipping into my bed. Sometimes, he'd be in the exact same spot we had tucked him in from the night before. On other mornings, if we left the bedroom before him, he'd come walking out looking for us while dragging the blanket along still on his back." Oliver lives in a foster home. Please submit an application to schedule an appointment to meet him!   Visit us at Open House: Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am - 1 pm. CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19 Learn more about our programs at www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family. No adoption fees and we help with medical costs! Story
Hi I am Nene! I am an adult doggy (estimated year of birth ~2012), approximately 40 pounds. I am shy with humans, but I am a very sweet doggy once I get to know you. I have been going to a training center to improve my socialization skills with humans. I enjoy going out on walks and chewing on bones. I live outdoors, housetraining will be necessary if you want me to become indoor/outdoor. I need a home with a secure yard. A home with no kids would be better as I have never lived with them
