Easy to get out, there was always slack on the leash and she preferred to walk aside.``She is super easy to handle & does well on a leash.”The shelter environment is scary for a sweet girl like Malaya. Story
A sweet dog who we initially adopted from the Humane Society as a puppy. She is well behaved, does have some anxiety issues, can be somewhat fearful at times. Since the addition of our first child she is having some trouble getting used to a a shift in our focus. She would be perfect as a single pet, also can integrate well with others dogs, enjoys giving our cats kisses from time to time. She has rarely had any accidents in the house, tolerates kennel time at night and while parents are away. We think she is around 6 years old. We are looking for a loving person or family willing to give our girl a good home, some weekend trips to a good dog park or two, and most importantly some love (and possible squirrels to chase).

Beautiful male dog appeared at our house. Very sweet and loves to play. Great personality and does understand some commands. Beautiful markings and the prettiest brown eyes. I put Rhodesian Ridgeback because his face reminds of one. Sure to bring joy to all ages of your family. Do not want him to have to be euthanized.

We adopted Wonder Woman when she was just 10 weeks ago. She's been given lots of love and knows her place in our pack. However she is extremely prey driven and leash aggressive/protective. We have a floor to ceiling window in the living room which she has broken, TWICE, trying to go for squirrels in the yard. She can't help herself, it's in her DNA. She's also leash aggressive, meaning she will do anything to protect you from anyone who comes near when she's on leash. She is especially anxious about children, and growls/barks whenever they come near. She really needs some land where she can chase squirrels and other fun creatures. She's not overly affectionate and is too skittish to cuddle for long. But she's so loyal and protective. We have tried so hard with her. And we really do love her. This is not a decision we take lightly. I simply don't have the money to put into properly train her for our city life circumstances. We are heartbroken to let her go.

Carmelo is so ridiculously hunky and cute. He's 5, so this lug nut is a little more mellow than most, but can still kick himself into "play" gear pretty quickly. Carmelo LOVES being outside on walks and getting a break from the shelter. He is friendly with people, all people, including the little ones. He's not keen on other dogs. We think he's a Catahoula Leopard dog mix, and he has the most beautiful eyes. We fell in love with his sweet smile. Carmelo would love to have a stable home, where he can relax and feel like he's part of the family. He is a low-maintenance guy who doesn't need to be fussed over. But, he loves a little attention and he's big on bellyrubs. If you're looking for a confident, well-adjusted family dog, please consider Carmelo. He's been waiting patiently for someone to notice him, and he wakes up every day wondering if this is the day he'll finally get to go home.
