Chevy is a 5 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix and he weighs in at about 47.5 lbs. This handsome boy is a little slow to warm up to strangers, but as soon as he knows you are a friend he is sweet as pie!  He is super smart and very treat motivated - he knows 'sit', 'lay down', and 'go to bed'! Catahoula's are an active breed, so he would do best with a pet owner who lives an active lifestyle.  Due to his energy level and tendency to jump, Chevy would do best with older children, maybe over 10 years old.  He does have one request when it comes to his forever home, he must go to a home where he is your one and only furry companion.  My minimum adoption donation is $145 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control(McLean County residents). I has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
