I AM IN FOSTER CARE! PLEASE FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION AND CALL THE SHELTER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET ME! Adoption Donation: $350 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus; Vectra 3D. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. Our website is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available. All new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon as animals are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs or Cats page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! We would recommend if you haven’t done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family.  Please fill out an online application and we will give you a call as soon as we receive it. My Louie is 4 years old and was house trained. The last couple years he decided to start peeing occasionally in the house again. I've brought him to the vet numerous times and they have said everything is okay with him. He is scared of everything, I can't take him on walks anymore, unless I choose times I'd be less likely to run into people or other dogs. He will go after them. I have 3 teenagers and tons of kids at my house all the time, he growls and barks profusely but after a minute he's totally fine. He does wan't to hide in my skin as soon as her hears something.I bought Louie when he was 12 weeks old from Lone star Farms in Illinois. I'm currently located in Rockton, Illinois, this is on the border of Illinois/Wisconsin. He is a quiky dog, someone with patience and experience needs to adopt him, I feel like some may not be patient with all his strangeness. He's very loyal but my husband hates him. I have tried 4 years with him and as Louie's behavior got bad, my husbands did .
