Story
Our boy Solomon is looking for his most perfect forever home. He doesn't come without flaw, but he does come with a loyalty to his humans that doesn't waver. He is about 5 years old and probably 70 pounds. He is a Heinz 57 mix breed, the listed breeds are our best guess. He is Long, TALL, and lanky. Solomon LOVES to play fetch and brings the ball back every time for you to toss it again. He has plenty of energy to keep up with someone who likes to run and hike, but will also settle right down. His new home will need to have a fenced in yard for him to frolic and play in. Solomon is house and crate trained. He will need to be in an only dog adult home. Solomon listens well, but will need a stern handler not afraid to make him listen. He knows basic commands. And is very eager to please his humans. He is super smart and would excel with advanced training. He is currently being fostered in East Tennessee, but is available to be transported to the Northeast. Solomon is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com for an application on Solomon. Story: Stella is a wonderfully sweet girl who found herself in the shelter needing TPLO surgery (this is similar to an ACL tear in humans). She has since made a full recovery and is doing wonderfully in her foster home. Story
Aspen has had a rough go of things; he was a stray for a long time before learning to live with a family. However, he hasn't given up hope. He has become the most well behaved, affectionate dog I've ever owned. He has learned to play with his toys by himself and is comfortable with anyone in almost any situation. All he needs is affection and companionship. Unfortunately, he does not do well left alone. My two person household has sadly become one and since I work 6-7 days a week, I can no longer make sure that he isn't left alone. Aspen would make an excellent companion for someone who is home often or has multiple members in their household. Please note that Aspen's new family will get his crate, metal dog bowls, 50 pound bag of food, toys, and leash upon adoption. You can text me at any time for more info.

Sam is 8years old and the perfect mix of play and rest! He is bonded with his little bother Dunkin who is a 5year old poodle,maltese and shih tzu! They love each other bunches, but it is fully understandable if they cannot be adopted together. Sam loves to play fetch with any size stick, ball or toy that you can find! Both Boys have been a true blessing to our household, which includes 2 boys (15yo and 10yo) and 3 cats! Both boys love car rides and treats and are always so very happy to greet you when you walk through the door! Both are house trained and well behaved, they also have a couple tricks up their sleeves ;) Our family accepted a fostering situation for these guys, which was never meant to be long term, but the previous owner moved out of country and I am now moving out of state. Please take these guys into consideration if you are looking for some fun yet chill pups to brighten your lives! If nothing else, please consider Sam and his big 'ol hanging tongue :) Thank you!

***UPDATE 17Jan2020*** Sam and Dunkin are currently with a family that takes great care of them, but unable to be their forever home. The boys are currently located in Manassas, VA with their foster mother. Feel free to reach out to me and I will put you in touch. Thank you! What can I say about Sam....if you're looking for a best friend he's the one. He is lovable, playful, and relaxed. Also loves a good head scratch (you'll know when he puts his head on your lap). Wonderful with other dogs and kids. I have had Sam since he was 6 months old (he is now 8). I am trying to find him the perfect forever home, and will not settle for anything less. He is truly an amazing part of the family. Always kept up to date on shots and never had a health issue.
