We have actually curbed Roberta's jumping quite a bit, and she is now enjoyable and sweet to take on a walk. Roberta is guessed to be a Rhodesian ridgeback/Lab-mix, maybe with a little pitbull? She is incredibly athletic! . Roberta is most likely to thrive in a home that shares her athletic aspirations - teach this girl to play Frisbee and go for runs, and she will love you forever! Roberta is not currently friendly towards other dogs, but can remain non-reactive at a distance. She is very focused on treats and loves training! This is a clean lady who doesn't chew dog beds! Story
Max needs a new home we unfortunately do not have the time for the attention he needs anymore with work school and kids now. We rescued max 5 years ago he was believed to be a escaped bait dog for dog fighting has some scars to show for it was extremely underweight and we later found he had been shot and had to have a .22 bullet removed. With that being said you would have a heard time believing his history he is a super loveable dog loves to cuddle and run good with other dogs and puppies loves to sunbathe. He does however have some food aggression while eating he doesn't want to be touched while eating orhis dish we separate him from our one year old while he eats and have never had a issue. He's up to date on shots as far as I know had his teeth fixed when we rescued him and one toumor removed 2 years ago besides that he's a happy healthy dog.

Please read the entire Post Cora is In Winchester Tennessee . Cora is a five-year-old Catahoula mix with a very sweet personality, piercing eyes and gorgeous coat of color. Cora was picked up by a lady who witnessed her weaving in and out of traffic, terrified, and unsafe. Cora has since been on the stray watch for two weeks, with no one claiming her as their own. Upon medical intake and testing, it was discovered that Cora has a heavy load of heartworms. As you know, this is a very deadly and expensive disease to treat. We hate to say it but think she may have been abandoned just for that reason alone- for she is a fabulous girl. Since Cora has a heavy parasitic load, her treatment will be more potent and take longer for recovery, meaning she will be in our facility for an extended period of time before she can be adopted. It is our hope that a generous donor will step up and help Animal Harbor with the cost of the treatment and housing her for eight months; for we cannot take on the high cost alone. In 6 months Cora will need a heartworm test to confirm that she is heartworm free. This is something that you need to understand before inquiring about this dog. You will be required to have the test done at the 6-month mark. Daphnie spent Months upon Months in the Animal Control here is Franklin County Tennessee. She is Super Friendly and is very loving. She loves squeaky toys and to just be with her people.She appears to be house broken but not known forsure to be and she is also a very clean kennel keeper. She seems to get along with other dogs that we have observed. She will need training as it seems as though she has not had any. But she is in no way hard to handle she just need direction.
