Story
Gidget was a lost puppy in Shawnee. We found her without a chip, collar, & nobody claimed her, so I brought her home. To our best guess she was 3.5/4 months old. We think she’s part lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has a ton of energy & loves playing. She currently lives with an elderly cat, & a 6 mos old wolfhound mix. She loves play fighting with the puppy, but sometimes she doesn’t know when to chill out. She was doing fine with the cat, but recently started chasing her. That’s part of why she needs a new home. She also doesn’t listen very well to myself or my mother. She listens to my dad when he visits. She would do much better in a home with a male and multiple people. She has rarely been around children, so I’m not positive on how she would do. She does have some separation anxiety & thinks she needs to jump on people to say hello. She’s very smart & sweet. She loves cuddling under a blanket. She just needs a stronger personality to make her mind and remember her manners.

My name is Thor. I was born in December 2017, and am a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Lab mix. I'm very independent, and love to be outside. I get along well with other dogs, and I absolutely love sticks! All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for each dog is $100.00. We adopted pebbles from one of our local shelters, unfortunately both my husband and myself health have taken a decline and we cant keep up with this sweet girl. Pebbles loves our grandchildren and is very protective of them. Pebbles is dog aggressive, I believe with a good trainer this could be worked out, but loves cats! Pebbles loves everyone, but is shy (she does growl when strangers walk in on their own, but she runs and hides when they come towards her) when she meets new people (it only last 2-3 mins and then she's in love and wanting to play). She does need a good fenced yard or she will have to be on a tie-out because this girl loves to run and only comes back when she is ready. Pebbles will come with all of her toys and medical records.
