Story
Georgia is just over a year old. Shes house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash with a training collar, and will do darn near anything for food. Shes absolutely gorgeous, looks like a rhodesian ridgeback, just lighter and without the ridge. Shes very fit, and has no health issues. She lives with a four pound chihuahua, three parrots and a duck, all of whom she gets along with. Loves EVERYBODY. Due to worsening mobility issues, (mine, not hers) walks are a thing of the past, and that's just not right. She needs walks and hikes and adventures, not sitting around the house. It's time to do right by her and find her new people to have a better, more fun life with.

I adopted Maggie from a shelter in NM. She loves running and exploring, especially in the desert. I recently became a single mom and it is difficult to keep up with her needs and our family's. I also rented an apartment thinking my husband would take her when he moved out and he changed his mind. It will be very costly to find a new place, as well as hard to find a place I that will be good for her.

We adopted Archie 2 1/2 years ago from Charleston SPCA right after we had lost our the puppy we adopted to Parvo. Archie is a great medium size dog who ways 40 lbs. We always call him little man seeing as our other 2 dogs are both over 65 pounds. He truly is a great dog but unfortunately we will be moving very soon and are not aloud more than 2 animals. Our other dog Jax who is much bigger than him also does not get along with him because they both think they are alpha. We have tried reaching out to friends and family but nobody has any room for him either. So, we are turning to this website were we hope to find a great home for Archie; as he deserves a great home. We are looking for a very caring person or couple that has the attention to give to Archie and the time. Also, we want the adopting person or family to have the finances and room to take care of Archie and give him the good life he deserves. We really look forward to meeting his potential new forever home!
