Meet Lady! In the rescue world we have a chance to use some interesting names for dogs, and Lady is a common name... but this girl exemplifies what a lady is! She is a very pretty and prim girl who loves to be adored and petted by anyone and everyone. Lady loves kids, elderly, and basically everyone with hands to pet and mouths to tell her what a good girl she is! And when Lady isn't getting attention, her favorite thing is sunbathing. Just relaxing in the sun on the desk or in the back yard is her idea of Heaven - she's an easy girl to please! But dont let the name fool you, Lady is always down for a romp or ball toss-- although she may not always bring it back, so thrower beware. We don't know her full backstory as she came to us through a high intake shelter, but we are guessing that she didn't have the happiest of lives. She was being brought to the euthanasia room when a worker at the shelter called us and begged us to save her, because she was too perfect to die. We agreed and literally saved her from imminent death. Maybe she was chained up as an "outside dog" before she was picked up by animal controle, or maybe she had to fend for herself on the streets for a bit. But whatever it was, Lady doesn't let it get in the way of her current happiness. She is crate trained and house broken, and loves curling up on the couch with her foster dad. While Lady has had no problems with other dogs, (and is in an in home boarding facility with numerous other pooches) she'd perfer to be an only pup so she can get allllll of her humans' snuggles. Lady is spayed, up to date on her shots, chipped, and worm free. She is approximately 6 years old and ready for a family to call her own. She loves car rides and is getting better and better at walking on a leash. Lady would fit in any family, apartment or house, as long as they love her for the princess she is! And if you are worried about her breed, dont be - Lady is a certified mutt! We are quite sure a DNA test will reveal she is the perfect mix of a lot of amazing breeds. We received Krew from a friend we have known for over 15 years. They had an older dog that had behavioral issues that did not appreciate sharing his home with a new puppy (Krew). Krew is 1 years old his birthday is December 23rd. I am looking for someone that truly loves animals and has the time and energy to spend loving Krew and making sure he has the amazing life he deserves. He is very loving, curious, amazing with my 3 kids, and full of energy. His favorite toys are his bones and tennis balls. He is a great family dog. He loves kids and believes he is one 😁

Addie and Maddie were saved off death row in a high kill Texas shelter. The 1 year old Rhodesian mix sisters could barely walk from old back leg/hip injuries that didn't heal correctly. Fast forward a few months with medication (carprofen), CBD Oil and joint supplements and these girls are almost Bionic! Maddie for a very specific home due to their background. She is great with people once she gets to trust you. Little apprehensive of strangers and their intentions at first. Remember, these are dogs that came from living on the streets and having to fend and provide for themselves. Both have tails that will wag for hours! Ok now the real stuff that you need to know about these 2 girls. They are also pretty crafty and a 5 or 6 ft chain link fence is a breeze for them to Houdini out of (trust me I know .. I said they were now feeling bionic remember LOL). No other small animals (cats, chickens, rabbits ect). Originally I listed them as a duo, but I have had them in separate pens, and I think they do better on their own and will be easier to work with one on one. She would be happiest with a large, wide open area to spend herdays laying out in the sunshine. Lots of acreage and a wireless system / electric fence may be ideal for her. She also needs a building that allows access to 24/7 that contains heat in the winter and A/C in the summer. She has no fur and can't spend the winter outside, period, end of sentence. We don't ever adopt our dogs to be outside dogs, and it is the same with Addie and Maddie. We want them to be loved family members, but also know what will make them happy as well, so we may be looking for the impossible, but I hope not. I hope in time with the right families the will be comfortable in a home .. but I understand they may never get there. Both girls are up to date on vaccines, spayed, heart worm negative, on preventions and micro chipped. They do ok on leash and in the car when crated. They are about 40 lbs currently and will stay medium sized. Maddie and Addie are currently located in Tennessee and the adoption fee is $150 each The first step in our process is submitting the application.
