Story
Raja is currently living in a foster home in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Raja was a local owner surrender. Her family found that they didn't have enough time for her, and wanted her to have more. They asked Paddy's Paws to take her, and we agreed! She is a sweetie and her foster family enjoys her so much. She is a little afraid of brand new people, men more than women, but warms up with a little time. Because of that, Raja would be best in a home with adults or adults with older kids. Raja is building confidence and is a dog who would do well with more opportunities for that - like doing a training class with her new person. She is so happy to please. She also loves to play with other dogs and had been good with the dogs of all different sizes and ages at her foster house. Raja is a medium energy level girl. She loves to play with her dog friends outside, but settles down inside and is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling. She is big enough to do outdoor active activities and small enough to still fit on a lap. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but Illinois adoptions will be considered. will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
