Story
0320128 My name is Poseidon, or Po for short. I am a 4 year old Rottweiler. I came to my foster home a few days ago really sick and scared. Thanks to the great care at Red Rocks Animal center I’ll be healthy and ready for adoption in a few weeks. I don’t really like strangers and sudden movements really freak me out so I am looking for a calm environment and a patient owner. I’d love to join a family with other dogs and no kids. It’s been a few days since I arrived in my foster home and slowly warming up to my foster family, I even let them pet me. I like my foster sisters a lot but we’re still figuring out how to play. I do like toys but unfortunately I’m not very careful with them and should always be supervised while playing with toys. I’m great on a leash and love strolling the neighborhood and stoping to smell everything! I will be available April 10, 2020 ##623083##

Story
0220050 My name is Grace! I have had a rough past and need slow intros to men and other dogs. But I am getting better with this! I am amazing on a leash with continued daily walks. I will need continued training. I am an amazing dog already and very treat motivated! I ride well in a car in the backseat. I am a little jumpy, so will need to learn my limits on that. Please be cautious reaching at my head right away (this is where my foster parents think I have had the rough past), I will let you know when I am okay with it. Again, I have been learning to trust again and have been doing better. I am a kisser though! I have not shown any aggression with my foster parents so please be patient! I love butt scratchers! I am house trained!\ I am being fostered in Colorado Springs.  ##574238##

Story
I have had Rudy for over 3 years now since he was about 6 weeks old. He is overall a very affectionate and sweet dog who loves people. However, he is very dog aggressive. I have two other dogs in the house currently that he does fine with, but he can not be around other dogs that he is not well acclimated to. For this reason, the person(s) adopting him should not have another dog in the house. This decision to rehome him certainly did not come easily but my fiance and I are expecting a baby in March and with two other dogs in the house, we felt that something had to give. We certainly hope to find Rudy a loving forever home. I had Rudy's last set of vaccines administered at Foothills Animal Shelter in Golden, CO in January of 2019. The records are on paper and not easy for me to upload, but I am happy to provide them upon request.

Story
0320126 - Embry is a 2 year old Rottie Mix (emphasis on the mix) although we suspect she might be a little younger.  This sweet girl wants nothing more than to give hugs and cuddle with her humans.  She loves to play with her foster siblings and would play all day if allowed.  She has been very responsive to training and learning to be a good girl in the house.  She settles down well in her crate.     This girl has had a lot of change recently and is looking for a forever home that can provide her with structure and commitment for the rest of her life.  You will be rewarded with a silly companion who loves unconditionally.  She would love to join an active household with another dog she can play with.  She can be a little mouthy when excited and would do best in a home without young children.  She has not been tested with cats.   If you think Embry might be a great fit for you, then head to sloppykisses.org and fill out an application.   ##610903##
