If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.

This sweet girl is Vivian, she is a 40 pound Rottweiler mix. Vivian is a very loving girl who is learning to be confident in the world around her. She is a very loving and cuddly girl who wants to be with you all the time, But she still is a puppy who wants to play and have all of your attention. Vivian is 99% potty trained and is doing really well on her kennel training. She is dog friendly and people friendly it just takes her a minute to warm up. Vivians perfect family would be one that is willing to keep up with her basic obedience and manners, as well as someone who is going to help teach her to that the outside world isn’t so scary. For her forever family she either needs a fenced in yard which would be best because she loves to be outside or someone who will take her on lots of walks. Vivian is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training. If you are interested in meeting Vivian, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Vivian ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Aurora is a beautiful and lovely girl. She is heart worm positive and currently undergoing treatment for that. If adopted before treatment, her adopters will need to be willing to continue that treatment, and make her vet appointments with our veterinarians in Cassville MO. Her special needs have not affected her love and desire to be around people. She prefers a home with no cats because she cannot resist the urge to snack on them. We have estimated her birthday to be 12/2/15, and she weighs 80 pounds....All pets have lifetime sanctuary at Haven of the Ozarks. If they cannot remain with their adopter, they must be returned to the Haven.Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under the age of 6 months - $125Dogs weighing 30 pounds and less - $125 Dogs ages 6 months to 5 yrs old - $90Dogs over the age of 5 yrs old - $75.Cats under the age of 6 months old - $75Cats over the age of 6 months old - $65
