Story
Caesar is a very excited dog who loves being pet and chewing on bones. He's looking for a home where his new family can consistently take care of his diabetic needs, including but not limited to insulin injections twice a day and a 30 minute walk daily. He often has trouble eating when the bowl is placed in front of him, but we have found that if you hand feed him the first few bites then stroke his ears while he's eating he doesn't have as much of a problem finishing his food. We all love this dog, but unfortunately with one member of the household leaving for deployment, one working extensive hours each day and two others having a baby, our household will no longer be able to support a dog that needs the care and attention he deserves. He needs to be in an only pet home, as he's aggressive towards cats and dogs.

+++++++++++COURTESY POST+++++++++ **Maddox is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $495 for non-local adopters, which covers his transport to his new family. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.** Well hello there! I&#39m Maddox and I&#39m pleased to meet you. I must say, I consider myself to be a &#34lucky dog&#34. One day, I&#39m wandering the streets of Houston, without a home, and the next I know, I&#39m in a very nice home, with a lady who promised me that she will find me a forever home. Luck just seems to follow me and I&#39d be happy to bring that luck to your life, too. I&#39m 55 lbs and 2 yrs. old. I&#39m house-trained, getting used to the crate--not my favorite activity, and energetic. I&#39m working on my obedience training and have caught on to a couple commands very quickly. In fact, right now, I&#39m being fostered by a very good professional trainer, so you know I&#39m learning every day. They tell me I&#39m a quick study. I like people. Sometimes I like to take a little time to get to know people, but I&#39m definitely a people-oriented guy. I also like car rides, because that&#39s a bit of an adventure, too. I am good with other dogs, but I do appreciate a proper introduction. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, active dog, who enjoys taking walks, wouldn&#39t mind learning how to be a running partner, and enjoys a little chill time, I just may be your guy! I&#39m fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health. If you&#39d like to meet me, please contact info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet. Thanks. Maddox is available for adoption thru the WAGS Fund Rescue Group. Please email info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet! +++This pet is being posted as a courtesy to another group or individual. This pet is not part of the Joyrides adoption program. Story
I'm the owner of Nipsy's mom and his sister. Nipsy was born December 12, 2017. He was one of 11. Nipsy's grandfather was Rottweiler and Staffordshire. his father was pure blood blue nose. His owner is 15 and doesn't have time anymore for him. He left him here and it is not a good idea. He has been in two fights with his brother that lives here also, but plays very well with his sister. I'm not sure on other male dogs. He's looking for a lot of love and attention. Does well with young children. Very home protective, but can be taught who is a friend. He's bicycle and walking trained and minds well.

Story
Betty is a shy but sweet dog. She's about 8 years old. She is ultimately very loyal. She does well with other dogs but is more people oriented. She is a typical Rottie, kind of lazy and a couch potato if you let her. She does like to walk and play though. She would be best in an adult home with a single owner she can bond with. She gets very jealous if there's others in her "person's" life. She doesn't like to be alone. She'd be a great dog for an older person who lives alone and wants a companion. She is strong and playful though so someone who can still walk and play with her.
