Story
Rambo is 4 years old in February 2020. I’ve known him for 4 years and I rescued him in July 2019. He had been chained up in a yard since he was a puppy, and the yard was adjacent to where I worked so I would pet him, bathe him, walk him, etc. This past summer, he got loose and I returned him to his owner who told me that he neglected him and I could have him for free if I wanted him. I adopted Rambo and spent over $2,000 on his medical needs. He had heartworms, intestinal worms, needed to be fixed, etc. He is now totally healthy. My roommates don’t want an indoor dog so he remains outdoors with my sweet little cat, Ruah. They sleep together every night. I walk him daily and have trained him not to pull most of the time. He is very protective and leash reactive, so he tries to go after joggers/walkers and other dogs. Sometimes he plays nice with other dogs, other times not. He wants to be the alpha. He is a very sweet, loyal, and loving dog. He’s a big lapdog!

Hi, I'm Louis! I am a big loving sweet boy. I am the type of boy that likes to be close to you- I'll lean right in for some extra close petting and love. I live with a bunch of big dogs in my foster home and do well with them (though I like slower introductions when meeting new dogs). I have a medium energy level and like to play ball in the yard before chilling out by your side. I am not a big fan of the crate but don't worry, I am not destructive if left out in the house without a crate! I would love to meet you!
