Russian Blue kittens & cats in Osawatomie, Kansas

Lexi is a great cat that loves kids (especially) as well as adults. She is very gentle and literally does not have a mean bone in her body. She prefers peace and quiet and is a low impact pet. We have had her about 6 years after adopting her through Petsmart. We need to rehome Lexi as our grandkids are allergic and not able to spend time in our home. She does not require any cat medications. We are looking for a home for our loving, gentle cat in which she can become a valued member of the new family.

Runner is a sweet boy that lived a lot of his life outdoors. He was a bit wary of people when he first came in in 2010. Runner and his best friend Buckaroo went to live with an incredible woman that cared for them both for 8 years but recently passed away and the family brought them back to the shelter. We would love to find a senior that would continue to care for these two. They shouldnt have to live out their lives in a shelter, its not their fault. Juneau is a sweet cat, who loves to cuddle. She sleeps on me every single evening. She is a russian blue, and I am someone who is allergic to cats and I have had no issues. She comes from a tough background where she was terrorized by dogs. When faced with other animals, even at a window, she gets very territorial. She is litterbox trained, but has had issues spraying on furniture. We have taken her to the vet with no real solution, and unfortunately we do not have the resources to keep exploring this. She is zesty and fun, and rehoming her has definitely been a tough decision, but we believe it to be for the best. So, Juneau would do best with someone who can give her adequate attention, doesn't have young kids, or dogs, and who feeds her on a schedule, but is overall a very loving animal.
