Russian Blue kittens & cats in Whitehall, Ohio

Very loving cat once he gets familiar with you, unfortunately my significant other has an energetic dog and they don’t mix well together.

I got Chloe as a kitten from the vets office when she was just a kitten. She grew up in a home with another adult cat and 2 smaller dogs. However she would do best being a single pet. As she got older (she is now about 9) she became anxious of the other animals when a person wasn't around. The current living situation has now changed and the dogs have passed away leaving just the 2 cats. They tolerate each other but don't necessarily get along. Currently her living situation has changed again as I have gotten married and she is not adjusting well to the new dog or kids. She has been hissing at my wife and kids without provocation. Shes sweet, lays in laps and is xxxx@xxxx.x can become very anxious and wont back down from other pets or people. I'm am trying to rehome her because my new family is too busy for her and she doesn't have a space of her own to go and relax. I feel she would be best being a single pet where she can be herself without being medicated.
