Russian Blue kittens & cats in Austin, Texas

Don’t let her grumpy face fool you, she is into ALL THE SNUGGLES. She is SUPER friendly with all humans (she is very social), however she has not worked well with other cats, and although she HAS lived harmoniously with dogs in the past (see pics and videos) it does take quite a bit of warming up so ultimately we think she'd be happier in a home without dogs or cats. Kitty has been well loved and is healthy as ever (no medications!). She was an outdoor cat for 10 years, has moved over 9 times including 4 different states, and has never caused any major issues. She is fully house trained and just wants to snuggle! She no longer prefers to be outside and instead loves finding sun spots to take naps, as well as meeting new humans. She is a chatty cat, and generally responds when called. She is used to being free-fed dry food, with wet food occasionally given. She is in her older years and has slowed down quite a bit- she is not much for playtime, but is sweet and snuggly nonetheless. :)

Macorino is a handsome fella. Look at those eyes! He can make monkey/dolphin sounds. Listen to an example of a more cat-like moment in the video. He wants to be petted every time he sees me, but is happy to play with a laser pointer or something on a string/wire (even though he doesn't really know what to do with the object on the end when he gets it). He is a very active cat. He gets along with a female cat who was a kitten when he met her, but Macorino needs to be kept separated from other cats because he feels threatened by every other cat he's been around. This issue with other cats is what caused him to develop crystals in his bladder at one point, which a veterinarian diagnosed as idiopathic cystitis due to an inability to cope with stress from the threat of other cats, which is why we need to re-home him. He is by far the sweetest cat we've met and he will be a great first cat to anyone.
