Story
Chloe was turned into the city kill shelter by her owner as a euthanasia request. We cannot imagine why. The shelter begged us to help her. They did not think she should be euthanized for no reason. She does have a slight limp on her right leg, along with some hair loss and skin infection, but this little lady doesn't deserve to die because of it. We took her directly into our vet for x-rays and to treat her skin infection. The x-rays revealed that she has some arthritis in her right knee and has some neurological issues in her spine that can be managed very well with Adequan and pain medication. We have had our vet do a dental cleaning on her and have started working on clearing up her skin. We have also put her on a diet (she's a chunky monkey) which will ease the issues with her back and knee. Chloe is a miniature poodle mix who currently weighs 23 pounds. She is 9 years old. She is very, very cute and super sweet! She would love a new home with a family that will take care of her properly. She still has a lot of life and love left in her to give and would make the perfect companion for almost anyone. Chloe's adoption fee is $285. She has been fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped so she is ready to go! Chloe is currently in her foster home in Sheridan, TX.

I was found wandering the streets and brought into a vet clinic. No one came looking for me so Loving Arms stepped up to the plate and took me in. I had lots of dental work so I have no upper teeth but am still able to eat dry food as long as it is small bites. I LOVE company and would really like to be a part of your family. Let’s get together and see how happy we can be. I’m a really good kisser and love kissing everybody who pets me.

Toby, Toby, Toby!!! Cute as I am, I am a special needs pup! I am perfectly healthy, but was not properly socialized as a puppy and need an owner who will be firm and follow the rules that make me a great dog in my foster home. Because I can be snappy about sharing, NO CHILDREN! In my foster home, i am perfectly behaved 95% of the time and we are working very hard to make it 100%. Pluses: I love to be brushed, I am super smart and know basic commands, totally housetrained and do not chew up anyting but my toys. I LOVE to play fetch and know the rules my foster mom has set so I don't get too hyper and lose focus. I am very sweet and love to cuddle and I get along with most dogs as long as I am not allowed to be alpha. The cons: I am being worked with for impulse control about toys and food. I can be aggressive to people sometimes but with proper cues and management, I have been easily handled. I don't like my crate, but I sleep in it every night and only fuss for a few minutes. I am very friendly meeting new people, but have rules that my foster mom makes me follow. I am very cuddly and snuggly, but again, RULES. Sounds like I would be unhappy with all these rules, but actually I am so much better when I know what is expected of me and what to do when. I seems that when I was a baby, I just had to figure everything out on my own and I made some bad decisions and learned some bad habits. BUT I am young and relearning about being a dog and will be an amazing dog for the right owner. Because I do not want to hurt some little one, ABSOLUTLEY NO KIDS, says my foster mom. My ideal home will be a couple or single person that is familiar with setting boundaries for animals. I co well meeting new people but would not a candidate for a busy household with lots of coming and going. I need a steady routine with lots of discipline and love (in equar measures). I love car rides and walks and I am fine going places. I could do well in a home with a more dominient dog. I have been in a living situation with up to 6 dogs and I am not alpha, but need to have balanced siblings that are well behaved. I am doing so well with my training that my foster mom is ready for me to start interviewing a new family.
