Story
We found Leonard in our backyard as a 6 week old kitten born in a feral cat's litter. We ended up finding his 3 siblings, but decided to keep Leonard as a companion to our orange tabby Nimoy. Fast forward almost 3 years and we have a 10 month old and another baby on the way. Leonard would thrive in a quiet home without kids (or with older children) and another cat to keep him company, as he adores Nimoy. He has a coat that needs to be maintained with regular brushing. Leonard likes to be brushed by someone he is familiar with. He is skittish and nervous, especially with strangers. He is a bit uncoordinated (we think he may have cerebellar hypoplasia) and doesn't jump high very well and looks pretty comical when he is running. Leonard has a lot of good years ahead of him. He will never be a lap cat, but if you have a cat that wants companionship, Leonard is a loyal cat friend. He uses the litter box well and you won't hear much from him as long as you give him fresh water!

Story
Hurley is a wonderful cat! He still has a lot of life left in him. We just found out that he is diabetic and we can not afford to take care of him which we are very sad about. We do have a 3 year old son at home that he is not fond of but has never scratched or bitten ever. He kind of just stays away from him. We also have another cat that he loved to play and cuddle with until he got sick. He just stays away from him now too. The other cat does still try and play with him but he just runs away. He loves attention and likes to sit with you. He still plays with toys when hes feeling ok. We are at a loss on this. We love him to much and wish we could keep him. We would like to find him a home that will love him as much as us and be able to give him the medical care he needs. We defiantly did not want to put him down. He's going to need insulin shots and blood sugar reading done. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Story
Fiona is 4 years ago and she was adopted into my home three years ago. When she first arrived, it took her several months to get acclimated to her new home. She spent much of her time hiding, and struggled to cozy up to me as I believe she came from a very unkind home before me. She is bonded with her friend, Phil, and he helps her out of hiding and has taught her how to be a cat! She is very independent, but will want to cuddle and be close to you, on her terms. She is not as active as her counterpart, but she will still chase a laser pointer and go after toys. Her favorite place is anywhere up higher where she can observe the entire room. She also loves sitting by the window and looking outside. She hasn’t gotten much outdoor exposure other than a few steps out on a balcony. She has had some accidents outside the litter box over the years. Her new home would need to have some good hiding places, as well as a space that is quieter, preferably with some natural light.
