Attention! BERT Here!!
I and my Sister Molly are in search of a Pei Loving home together, You see..... we were purchased from a Breeder when we were just babes and as we grew bigger our human being, already a sick person, felt overwhelmed and decided when we were just 6 months old, that perhaps she could handle one of us and kept me and gave my sister away to this rescue. I was lost without her, my life didn't have meaning anymore so I stopped eating and ended up staying in bed for days.... I just wanted her back, I wailed and cried until the human contacted the rescue. I heard her on the phone saying something that Molly and I would be together again! So I thought Molly was coming home :D And then the rescue that picked Molly up was there to pick me up too.... I thought I did something bad and I was so scared....
THAT IS.....UNTIL.....
I was taken into this yard and THERE SHE WAS!!! My SISTER MOLLY!! OMG OMG OMG… I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE HER! She was SO HAPPY TO SEE ME TOO, WE jumped on one another and kissed and hugged and ran and chased each other.... I think that was the best day of my life.... that is..... so far anyway....
These wonderful people, especially rescue mom is THE BEST! We get special food and lots of big toys and she is teaching us new tricks like, 'sit' and 'stay' and we get treats if we do those silly tricks... heck it was a piece of cake.... except Molly doesn't like to listen sometimes... but heck ME??!! I am all in for those treats man!
So I am a devilishly handsome bugger, the chicks swoon over my tall black debonair self....
I weigh in at about 50lb and my sister Molly and I were born on the day of LOVE!! Yep that's right! VALENTINES DAY 2019! So we are all about the love, we are still a little shy at first but boy oh boy are we have a blast at this place making new friends of all sizes... We understand that its a temporary home till our NEW Pei Family comes along...
Rescue MOM says that we are special, and we need a special family to love us because of our breed, think she said a Pei Experienced Family because I guess some of our distant relatives have skin ,ear and eye issues... But whatever she says, she's the boss and we are totally ok with that idea.
Mom has lots of photos of us if you wish to see more. We'd like a home with a big secure yard to run and chase and do zoomies in, I personally like the little pool here its been really hot outside and we splash and play in the pool. Oh and we love to EAT! but beware!! We are super sloppy water drinkers LOL Mom says cuz of our smoooshy face that she smooooshes alll the time, geese...
We are happy that we have been rescued, we have our own room to sleep in at night and lots of filtered water, food and friends, the only thing we are missing in our lives now is our own family where we can be together, AND.... so we don't have to share Mom, dang she is busy.... l
