Peanut is a rescue from the San Bernardino area. She was found with a tight chain on her neck bleeding. Our volunteers had to cut the metal chain on her neck because her neck was bleeding. Our rescue gave her the necessary medical care until her neck healed and grow all the hair back. She also got vaccinated and Spayed. She is so sweet and loves to play with people. She also get along with other dogs both big and small. Max is a sweet loving 3 year old dog. He came to us when no one else wanted him we have had him living in our apartment with our female Chihuahua. When we first got him it was suppose to be only temporary but of course we fell in love with him once you meet him how can you not, our landlord has been patient with us in trying to find him a forever home. He is great with kids, he likes a lot of attention but doe not like rough housing as he wants to protect everyone in the family. He is very playful he thinks he is the size of a Chihuahua. He needs someone who has a lot of time on their hands to train him he did learn how to sit and stay he needs a yard to run and be free. Max does like other pets but doesn’t like male dogs as he is very dominant but I know once trained he would get along with any pet, We wish we can keep him but unfortunately we are not able to provide for him the way he deserves. Living in a apartment is no Quality of life.

**COURTESY POST** Yoda is approx. 11-12yrs old, 70lbs, neutered male Shar Pei mix dog in need of a loving home. His family is re-locating to Hawaii and due to his age, it is felt that the journey would be too difficult for him, so they are hoping to find him a loving home to live out his golden years here on the mainland. Since being rescued 10 years ago, he has learned to enjoy the comforts of being an inside dog and a part of the family. He is gentle and playful with his canine siblings (Chihuahua and Terrier mix) and birds (parakeets), but he can be reactive to strange animals and needs proper introductions to understand who is part of the family. He loves people of all ages and visitors always comment on what a great dog he is. He gets excited when people come over but does not jump up on people in his excitement. Yoda is a great watchdog. His bark is very intimidating and will make you feel very safe and protected with him in the home. He loves to play catch – not fetch. He will catch toys, treats, balls, etc. He also loves to be petted and just be with you. Even though he is a bigger dog, he doesn’t move around all that much and does not need a lot of space as long as he is walked daily. He is pretty mellow. Even when he gets excited it is for short bursts. He is okay with kids, as long as the kids are respectful of him. Yoda sustained some type of injury that required surgery before he came to live with his current family. One of his hind legs is shorter than the other and he cannot lay on his back and open his legs. As he ages, it has become more and more painful for him and he has a prescription for pain medication to help him. Because of this, he also cannot curl up into a ball to stay warm so he appreciates a light blanket on him at night. Yoda has patiently sat on the sidelines as the puppies and the children have come in and grown up and taken most of the attention. It would be wonderful for him to find a home where he would finally be the center of attention, where someone is around the majority of the time and can give him lots of love and comfort, perhaps someone who is retired. We are moving and cannot take Yoda with us. He is elderly (11 or 12yr). He is very sweet and very compliant. He loves to be loved. He is VERY protective of me, so other animals that come near me or the house, he will attack, but he does not attack our other two smaller dogs (terrier and chihuahua), nor our parakeets. Yoda and the terrier play all the time. He is house trained and no accidents. Yoda is also okay with children that are respectful of his painful area. We have 2 boys, 11 and 14yr. We adopted him when he was 1 or 2yrs. So the boys have been around him as babies and toddlers. Yoda has been through something traumatic before we adopted him and is unable to open his rear legs. As he aged, he is experiencing pain in his rear legs. He will growl when he is hurting. He has attacked the mail lady, but is kind to EVERYONE else. Weird. When Yoda is in pain or in fear, he will bite. As long as you leave him be and not try to help, he does not ever try to bite.

I am writing in seek of help to put my lovely Milo in a caring and loving home. I am unfortunately no longer able to take care of him due to my work, my financial situation, and living situation. Milo is such a sweetheart and is a 3 year old Sharpei-Beagle. He was under Rover’s watch late last year while I was out of town and we found him on a neighboring rooftop with a broken spine when we arrived back to the sitters building. (I attached an article link below as to what happened as there’s a lot), Milo is paralyzed waist down; however, he has made a lot of improvement after he has gone to physical therapy sessions. Milo and I are located in Los Angeles and I just wanted to spread this message in hopes to find him a home that cares for him dearly as I do.
