I adopted this handsome boy 2 years ago, and when I adopted him I was told he was dog friendly. (He is not, and that okay.)Because of my work schedule my dog goes to work with but there are other dog there and he doesn't get along with them, so I have to leave him home for 12 hour days and its not fair to him. He loves short walks napping playing fetch with stuff toys, but he will definitely destroy them if they are left he is current on his rabies and he will come with every thing i bought for him that's toys, leash collar, harness, food, bowls, and crate. He really is a great dog but he needs a home with no other animals around.

Mocha is 11 years old, he is mostly well behaved but is a bit anxious at night. My mother was his primary care taker until she relocated to Florida but could not keep him so my wife and I took him in temporarily since he was easy to deal with. Recently with the pregnancy of my wife he has added much stress to our lives by not allowing us to sleep. His only issue is that he does not like to be alone at night and we do not allow him to sleep in our bed room or on our bed. The only health issues Mocha has is that he is allergic to food that contains grains and sometimes can catch an ear infection if he is not bathed properly but that has been under control since he's lived with us. I'm sad to have to take him out of our home and more so away from my mother until she can relocate once again but the health of my son and wife are more important. I'm seeking someone who is probably older who has more time to dedicate to having Mocha around, he is very friendly.

Story
Otis is a 4 year old Shar Pei that I recently got from a local shelter. At the time he was recovering from an attack from another dog at the shelter but has since gotten his stitches out and his cone off. He's up to date with all shots and recently got a clean bill of health from the vet. About Otis: - Housebroken; I have had no problems with issues relating to using the bathroom, being overly excited in the house, excessive barking (he hardly ever barks), and is great with other people. I have not crated him. - He likes people but is comfortable keeping a distance once he checks people out. - He's very good on a leash but will be willful/stubborn at times. He doesn't lunge, bark or get aggressive on walks but he's quick to lose focus and needs to be corrected. Balanced communication works well for him. - He's played with other dogs in my presence and while he doesn't seem aggressive he does have a dominant streak and his energy level goes up quickly around other dogs.
