I'm friendly and social, but I do need a proper introduction when meeting other dogs to ensure we all get along. Hi! My name is Penny Peabody! My mama was rescued by Big Dog Ranch & Rescue, and I was born here. I was adopted as a puppy, but my person became allergic to me so here I am again but now bigger and over 3 yrs old. Being back at the Ranch is scary cuz I spent so long in a home. I need a person to be calm & patient with me while I readjust to a (hopefully chill) home. I'm still young, but not hyper. I do like playing with toys & in water so please have toys & good chewies for me! I like gentle and calm dogs best, and even "THOSE" cats. Respecting my space is necessary since I am nervous in new environments. I'm a bit scared of the leash too, so I need help with leash walking confidence. There really IS a Lovebug hiding beneath my nervous exterior. I dream that special someone will see me and help me remember what it's like to be somebody's precious dog! Maybe YOU are that "paw"son! Please be my Holiday Hero!

Simba was rescued from Puerto Rico. Simba is slow to warm up to new people. He is shy, but if you go slowly, he will become very friendly and begin to seek out your attention. Simba will adapt well and do best only if the home is low traffic. imba is not a fan of leash walking; a course or training in leash manners will benefit you both. Simba loves his doggie friends and if introduced properly, he will do well with them if there are other dogs in the home. Simba needs a low traffic home, he bonds quickly to his person but is not a fan of strangers and visitors to the home. I've got tons of energy and am always up for adventure-whether it's running, playing, or just exploring my surroundings, I'm your pup for the job! Guy is a handsome dog and a very good boy, he has the sweetest eyes. Guy is such a clown; he's very funny with a great personality. He always comes at you butt first to be pet, it's hilarious. So cuddly and affectionate. He’s incredibly friendly with other people and dogs, fine with cats too! Great around children and strangers; he would make a great family pet. Guy is a total couch potato and just wants to sprawl out on the couch with the family. He is very very good with walks and knows the following commands: come, sit, lie down, shake and keep by your side when you walk him. He’s fantastic on the leash. He's 4.5 years old, 50 lbs.
