Meet Honeydew! Furkids rescued Honeydew from an overcrowded animal control. We're glad he is here so we can find him a forever home! Honeydew's estimated birth date is 01/16/2024 and his adoption fee is $330. Honeydew has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Honeydew, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Hello, I'm Pippi! I love to be petted and touched so you can pet me anytime--I might even nudge your hand to ask for more attention. Don't you just love my smile and happy face? My foster Mom says that's what I'm like all the time--just a sweetheart!! I have lots of positive energy and am always on the go---except when I'm napping, of course!! I love my walks, am housebroken and have good leash manners--and by the way, I have sweet kisses just waiting for you! I don't have much known history with dogs or cats, and after several visits with the 2-yr.old granddaughter, we are getting along great! If you are missing "hugs" these days of social distancing, I have lots for you because I'm still an "approved" hugger according to the CDC. I'll look forward to meeting you. Kel might just be the sweetest dog ever! She's 1.5 years old now but came to us as a puppy. She's more on the smaller (or Smedium) size of medium. She is timid at first, but who can blame her after being bounced around between Animal Control, adoption, and back to rescue? She does the cutest waddle/Army crawl as she gets to know and trust you, and once she starts warming up to you, you’ll realize she wants nothing more than to be loved. And if that doesn’t endear you, her adorable facial expressions and underbite tooth will. While she gets along with other dogs, she prefers to dine alone and be fed separately. She loves to be loved on, but when she does play, she can sometimes play hard, so would probably do best in a family with older children (so they don’t get knocked over when that zoomie kicks in). Kel would do well with a family that has patience, understanding, and a lot of love to give while she learns to trust again and know that she is finally in her forever place.

Lady is the sweeeetest dog but I can't foster her anymore. Her original owner has severe heath issues and could not keep her. I'm fostering her for now but I already have two animals and simply don't have room for her longterm. I'm not sure of lady's exact age, I think about 12 but she's in overall good health. She loves attention, belly rubs and sunbathing in the grass. A home with a yard is ideal for Lady. She's happy and healthy but not very active. She won't go on long walks but loved being outside and will sunbathe for hours.
