Story
Chloe is about 6 yrs old and we believe she is a Shar Pei mix. About 60lbs. She was a Volunteer and shelter favorite at the shelter in OH that we pulled her from. She loves to sleep on a dog bed or a couch. What better way to binge watch your favorite shows than with a snoring and snorting dog next to you! She is a very endearing girl. She got to the Rescue in OH a few months ago in very rough shape due to neglect of her allergies. With excellent care, good food, allergy medications and baths, she is doing so much better now. She enjoys her Salmon diet. She loves to be loved and to be fussed over. She just loves all the attention. For this reason, we prefer she be the only pet in the home. No cats please. She's cooperative, loving, and SO DANG CUTE. Chloe grunts and sniffs like a pig on the hunt for truffles. Because of this, one volunteer has affectionately dubbed her Miss Piggy. Adopter will need to be aware of her allergies and in agreement to work with her on them. We want to make sure that Chloe has the care and attention she needs, for the rest of her life. Story
Luna is so unique! I brought her here from Israel, and I adopted her at about 4 weeks old. She is so sweet and loyal to the people that she knows and loves. She can be a bit shy at first, but loves to play with people and other dogs. I regularly take her to boarding and dog parks and she has a great time. She gets excited when she arrives and even more excited when you come back to get her. Luna is easy to persuade and train as she loves any food and is motivated to get her treats. I love her so much, but unfortunately have developed an allergy to her hair (she sheds a decent amount). I also live in a small apartment, and feel I'm not giving her the space she needs. I think an ideal home for her would be one with plenty of space (i.e a closed yard) and with people who can give her some attention daily. She is very flexible and fits the atmosphere well - if its time to play, she'll play, if it's time to relax, she will lay down and chill.
